Fender Rumble Club

I've been doing mighty fine with my Rumble 500 V3 head and pair of the R115 V3 cabs. Anyways, I've just acquired a Rumble Studio 40 at my favorite local musical instrument and related goods dealer, who gave me a good discount off of what everybody else is selling them at, because I bought the last one, the floor demo model which was in just unboxed condition. Yes, I got it sold as new, with warranty and the Fender paper goods, etc. I also bought the foot switch. It's a heckuva 40 watt marvel box so far, and that's with objective and realistic expectations. Yes, just like nearly all digital modeling-processing devices, it's going to reward those who dig and learn what it's capable of, to get the most out of it. Not so happy that my current Android stuff can't run the Fender Tone App, and it would have been nice if Fender had utilized that mini-usb port for Mac and Windows firmware updates, etc, etc, yet that's neither here nor there at the moment, and who knows what Fender may or may not do, down the road, for the Studio and Stage lineup. I'm all in all, quite happy and pleased with the Studio 40 so far. On another note and I apologize if it's already been addressed, the question came up about adjusting the midrange frequency in the amp models, that seem to be fixed in the presets. It's sweep adjustable with the encoder wheel knob! You just hit the layer button that takes you down to the virtual gain and volume and tone controls and with the encoder wheel you can scroll through what you want to adjust, and this includes the midrange frequency area that has no virtual knob to play with. You just push the black center of the two part encoder knob on whatever you want to adjust, on any of virtual knobs, including the no virtual knob equipped midrange frequency section, and it will turn from blue to red, and the outer cream colored knob of the encoder knob is used to adjust away. Hit the encoder again to turn things back to blue, and remember to hit the save button which will be lit up whenever you make adjustments, it's that easy!

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to today's installment of

Fender Rumble Club Trivia!

[cue gameshow musical score]

Today's Fender Rumble Club Trivia question, for one shmillion shmackeroons, is:

"Where can I find out about Rumble history, internal Rumble features, Rumble designers, and many other topics of Rumble interest?"

:bassist:

Don't forget to read this fine print: Decisions of the judges are final. Entries not valid where void or prohibited. Only one entry per person, please. Please remember not to phrase your answer in the form of a question! Answers so formed will be null, void and pointless, not unlike the so-called prizes, which are for grins and giggles only, and are intended for the sole enjoyment of our audience only and not to be copied, borrowed, purloined nor otherwise appropriated nor exhibited in any manner unbecoming of the owners, shareholders, investors and their successors and assigns, be it foreign or domestic, as in: "no place like home", even if the heels of ruby slippers be clicked, or not. This shall in no way compel, contract, bind or enfetter said "Club" nor any members, visitors, fans or detractors of such, nor ever inure to the benefit of anyone, at any place, or at any time. Forever and ever, amen. Copyrights belong to there respective owners and are not used with permission, nor malice aforethought, nor any real, or imagined, thought at all, for that matter. Such matter being of no matter, substance, or intelligence in life or limb, being pure superfluousness by all accounts.

We need more votes on the Are the Rumble Stage 800 & Studio 40 the Version 4 (V4) of Rumbles? poll, please.

I would especially value the opinions of owners of the Rumble Studio 40 and the Rumble Stage 800.
Also to all the Stage & Studio owners: Do you think a separate thread (not another club) addressing usage tips and other model specific issues would be a good idea? If so who would like to sponsor such a thread and keep things flowing and informative? Such things tend to get lost in the daily life of the Fender Rumble Club. Maybe after more owners arrive it will happen of its own accord.

I feel strongly both ways! No, I'm not running for political office. :D

I don't see any separate threads for the V1 or V2 Rumbles. Surely all Rumbles are welcome here? As someone who is gas-filled for either a Studio or a Stage, I want to read all I can about them!

But then, I acknowledge that the V4 Rumbles (;)) are much different animals than all previous Rumbles. And there are probably many here who are quite happy with their less complicated Rumbles and not interested in Studio or Stage topics.

How does a club, like this, get a good vote on such questions as having a sub-thread? Our members are probably on quite variable attendance schedules from hourly to monthly, or more. And a separate thread with a poll might get overlooked by many.

Perhaps @Linnin nailed it and, "it'll happen when it happens".

If there is a real need, it will happen. Some folks wouldn't be caught dead in the Fender Rumble Club, but then again they might not actually admit to owning a Fender much less loving it. Then there are those that are self-conscious and/or self-important to the point they couldn't tolerate looking less intelligent by not being able to figure out new technology.
