Just got home from a gig using my R200C. Played my 5 string w/ the new set of EB Cobalt flats on it. Dayum! I was gonna sell the 5er since no matter how I EQed, I wasn't getting the sound I wanted and I knew it wasn't the amp 'cause my other basses sound great through it. Now I'll be using that pair whenever possible. Rumblin' On!

My experience is straightforward. The 115 isn't actually deeper, but reproduces those lows with more authority. The 115 also has a broader and more dispersant midrange especially in the low mids.
The 210 goes surprisingly low and has good mids. Its strength is in the high mids and low highs where it excels, and it simply has more top end. (horns off)
Your best bet is to get one of each.
In my view, the term 'crisp' only applies to PA speakers.
I can tell you ‘on the gig’ the 500c and the 210 extension cab cut through like a knife. Fills the pocket. My Sadowsky RV5 and this combo is just super solid. My keys player loves it in the mix, too.

I have an Ampeg PF115he stack that I run my Fender TBP-1 through. The 15s are awesome, and that rig sounds great but the Fender combo stack has my full attention nowadays.

This is the foot-switch I bought for my R500C...Its fitted with 2 "mono" 1/4" plugs..(Tip and Shield) both ends of the supplied cord as shown next to the switch, the plugs are like the one in the bottom pic. One end plugs into the switch...the other goes into the rear of the 500C into the FTSW socket.

Not to crash your post Giffro,I just bought a Fender Rumble 200,and this same foot switch came with it but I never use it,if anyone interest send me a PM,it is exactly like the one displayed in Giffro's post.

Bought two!!

Picked up a Rumble 25 for my practice room and got a Rumble 500 for gigs. Only got to try out my '72 Jazz bass through the 500, sounded awesome! Can't wait to try my Fodera through it at my next gig!
Welcome Rumbler #927! A perfect setup. Bassed on your name, I'd guess you want the warm classic sound the 500 can produce for you. Rumble on!

At the suggestion of Gravedigger Dav I'm here to join the esteemed ranks of Rumble owners. I just started playing around six months ago and my wife bought me a Squire bass and Rumble 15 amp. I'm really thinking hard about one of the Rumble Studio 40 amps. I have a Mustang for the six string and like it a lot. Anyhow, howdy all!
Welcome Brother
