Fender Rumble Club

Hello All,
What are your thoughts on the V3 Rumble 40? I’m thinking of buying one for home practice only. Is this a good combo for the $? I will be using my G&L L2500 through it. Does it handle the B well?
Thanks
Shaun
Of course it does! Buy one. The only 1x10 combo better than the $199 USD Rumble 40 is the German AER One $1700 USD. Take your pick.

I do not have a 5, but both my V3 Rumble 40 and Studio 40 handle everything I throw at it without issue!!

The V3 Rumble 40 is a ***kicker of a little amp, I have been rehearsing with it with 2 guitars and keys. Thankfully the drummer knows how to play with dynamics :smug:
This amp is more than I'll ever need for a practice amp, sounds good with a 6 stringer as well. I go stereo with a Fender Super Champ X2,

...a bedroom jam everyday :bassist:

I have just purchased me a Rumble v2 112 cab NOS for band rehearsals as I was a bit worried about cranking the 40c all the time.

It sounds so good (to me), I didn't want to wear it out in the first few months of owning it. It hung real well with the band, I could have gone direct out to PA, but...

I will be getting a Rumble 500h to rehearse with in the 1st week of July. I have a GK 210 and 115 cabs to blast. This set up will be powered with my Carvin BX500 until I get my hands on the R500h.

The Rumble 112 cab and Fender BXR 115 cab should do me until I find a v2 112 cab to go with the other v2 112 :D

Rumblin' the Thunder :woot::smug::D

Hey Rumblers,

After you're finished reading here, please stop by the newly-rejuvenated "Combo Club" thread. Some of you good people have already signed up for a number, but since there;s like 5,000,000 Rumble owners (including me, so check out my 100c review earlier today), I thought I'd shamelessly plug the latest cool club on TB! We're all about loving our combos, sharing tales of yore, being totally upbeat about all brands, and putting up some classic pics of our hardware. If you haven't checked us out yet, I'm inviting to stop by and ask for a number. Who knows, maybe it'll match your Rumble Club number! Probably not though. Thanks! :bassist:

Yes, combo users unite! The thread title was changed from "No Respect" I Rock a Combo Club!!!! to, simply, The Combo Club. And some numbers previously issued were changed. So, check to see if you need to update your signature with a new number.

So, I've been through an acoutsic head(600HD, loved it but downsized.)Got a TCE PB250 and not enough power and no use for the Tone thingy. THEN, I got an Ashdown MiBass 550,but the Ampeg SVT210-AV bottomed out BAD!. I bought a used Ahsdown MiBass 12 to try out with the SVT-AV but it's not here yet. Today I got a GREAT deal on a Rumble 500 head and I'm now back in the club. BTW, the Rumble sounded great with the SVT210-AV but I need little more bottom. I thought I'd try a 12, since I find some 15 cabs boomy. Glad I'm back to a Rumble. My first was the 200 combo. which was fine for church playing. Could someone tell me where the list is so I can find my number? PS - I'll be selling a couple of heads soon!

I have a 40 I use just for that purpose. I will say I was using a 25 and bought the 40 for a P&W gig I do on Thursday evenings in a chapel that hold about 120-150. I play with 2 or 3 acoustic guitars (depending on who shows up), a fiddle/mandolin, a cajon, and a flute. The 40 was a bit too much, so I brought it home for practice and I use the 25 for P&W. The 25 is a better volume level than the 40 for home practice, but the 40 has the same front end as the 100 and up, so you can play with you basic sound better. As to your 5er, you will be very pleased with the tone of the low B with either amp.

The new made in Ensenada, Mexico Player series was announced earlier this week, and replaces Fender's Standards. Left handed players rejoiced as a more affordable Fender Precision is now available for the first time. Rightys got expanded color and neck options. Everyone got better AlNiCo V pickups. A great week to be sure. :woot:
 Rumble On!
