The Stage 800 is 400 continuous watts into 8 ohms. Same power section as the Bassman 800. @tombowlus is winding up his review of the Bassman 800 which includes bench testing for actual wattage.

thats awesome! i rock a r100 combo too and wondering if it will hold up for a small gig coming up.
how big was the venue you played?
Your answer awaits you o lazy of bones on The Fender Rumble Wiki page.I could use a footswitch for my Rumble 500C. Do I need TS or TRS? I've got a couple of generic latching TRS footswitches but I've been lazy and haven't tried em out yet.
So I’m considering the Bassman 800 HD to go with my Rumble 410 cab. So I sent an email to Fender to see what the watts would be with 8 ohms. This is not the answer I was expecting.
If you're asking for max watts at 8 ohms for the Bassman 800, I think I read somewhere that it's 500 watts. If that's right, you're in good shape with the Rumble 410, which is rated 500 watts continuous and 1,000 watts program.
I think Brett Arney misunderstood your question. Or I did. But I haven't been able to find a digital copy of the manual, so I could be wrong.
Ask in the Official Fender Bassman Club, where there are several BM800 owners.
According to this excerpt from the Fender Bassman 500/800 Manual, the Bassman 800 is rated for 500 watts at 8 ohms:

Thanks, I looked at the online manual and didn't see it. Seems like that's something they would know when you ask though.
The manual on Fender's website is for the 500 only. Had to find this one elsewhere.
This is the foot-switch I bought for my R500C...Its fitted with 2 "mono" 1/4" plugs..(Tip and Shield) both ends of the supplied cord as shown next to the switch, the plugs are like the one in the bottom pic. One end plugs into the switch...the other goes into the rear of the 500C into the FTSW socket.I could use a footswitch for my Rumble 500C. Do I need TS or TRS? I've got a couple of generic latching TRS footswitches but I've been lazy and haven't tried em out yet.
Loll yeahh..not much to it..I use it as it came with the switch and at most times its long enough.TBH you could use lamp cord for the connecting wire of that footswitch.
Hey, I resemble that remark! Too late Eric, I'm #266...or is it #266.5? Something like that.Yes, we talked, he is a fellow lefty, I'll go ask him.
If he doesn't oblige, he can't be member of the Lefty Union club![]()
Now that is more like what we expected, isn't it?According to this excerpt from the Fender Bassman 500/800 Manual, the Bassman 800 is rated for 500 watts at 8 ohms:

Yeah, having fun over here also!Hey, I resemble that remark! Too late Eric, I'm #266...or is it #266.5? Something like that.
Right, 200W seemed very low and not realistic. The Rumble 500 already puts out 350W at 8 ohm.According to this excerpt from the Fender Bassman 500/800 Manual, the Bassman 800 is rated for 500 watts at 8 ohms:
The manual doesn't explicitly say, but I got this from it:I could use a footswitch for my Rumble 500C. Do I need TS or TRS? I've got a couple of generic latching TRS footswitches but I've been lazy and haven't tried em out yet.

Ah-Ha! So they are not the same ICE Power modules, or are they not ICE at all but in house Fender designs?Actually, the power section in the Stage 800 is not the same power section used in the Bassman 800.
