I recently bought a Rumble 100 V3 slightly used through GC at a good price. My primary rig is a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.2 on a 12" Shuttle cab, which is considerably more powerful, but it's also 37 pounds. (There is real irony in bringing up its weight, I realize...) I do also have a 2x10 Shuttle cab, so if needed I can stack cabs under the G-B amp and have 600W handy. I doubt I'll ever need it, but you know the old saying, it's nice to know it's there if needed.

The Rumble's light weight of 22 pounds (15 pounds lighter than the already wonderfully light G-B) is really handy when lugging things up and down the stairs from my basement music room, and the 100W amp is more than I need for many of the gigs I play, so it's a most handy addition.

Now I can sell my 80's Fender Bassman 120, which is a combo unit with a 15" speaker. It sounds great, but it's bigger and heavier, and the Rumble makes it redundant.

Listed in "Great Condition" and the only used Rumble 115 on the entire Guitar Center website. That tells you how much people love them, because they do sell or Fender would discontinue them.

ok guys with the rumble stage 800s or 40s or anything...question.

So, lately it seems like my stingray is really farting out my speakers..i never play with the master past like 8:00 either. when i plugged in headphones, it sounds fine and isn't really distorting when i hit the low E hard...but when i'm playing through the cab it really seems to be having speaker distortion. it's very annoying. could these speakers have blown within a month of owning them without even playing loud?!

*edit* hmm m aybe i'm wrong. it does it on super low master volume too but doesn't do it on my stiletto 5 which are super low output EMG's...hmm...stingray too annoyingly powerful?

They sure shouldn't, and be able to handle a low B with ease just like the Rumble 500 combo. If you haven't tried retorquing your woofers do so first. Otherwise call Fender for a return authorization and nearest authorized Fender repair center.

I've tried about every combination of start/stop/connect/disconnect order.

I had a similar thing with the BT connection in my automobile & my phone.
Here's something you can try:

If turning off & on BT the conventional way isn't working to reset the BT Stack, go to your Task Manager, photo above.
In there, right click the BT services & hit End Task. It will prompt you to "abandon unsaved data", go ahead & do that!

Now go back to your normal way of turning on BT & it should reset the stack & connect.
To get to Task Manager, just right click on your taskbar & Task Manager is in there.

maybe I'm just dumb and not realizing how hot the musicman pickup really is, or how hot my emg active pj set can be in my model t....my g&l jb2 does it sometimes too, but the jb2 doesn't have master volume to try to turn down and neither does the model t. guess I can turn master vol down on the musicman and then turn up the amp itself. I like having it dimed though, sounds good lol. hmm. stupid high output pickups!

oh and it can handle a low b on my stiletto no problem.. but those pickups are much lower output than my others.

How do you connect the amp to a bluetooth device and have it work each time?

I forgot to add that with my phone it got an update for the operating system & the problem was resolved, so you might start checking for new BT drivers for your computer.

I went with a 500 head/210 vs a combo...mainly because I already had a combo and wanted the option to swap out cabs's should I ever need to. I recently added a second 210.....Whoa

Solid State Pre-Amps are just not made to be overdriven by another pre-amp whether it is in the bass or on a pedal. You hear the nasty results. All tube amps are a different much more expensive and heavier story.

Consider either selling or trading in your Rumble 100 on a Rumble 200 If you haven't played through a Rumble 200 be sure to give it a go. Rumble On!

I did consider that, but I use the 100 for about 80% of my gigs! Not like the 200 is much bigger tho. I may just hold out for a used 200. Then I'll have both!

I have both. If you feel that strongly about the 100, you'd love the 200. By the way, the 200 isn't so much bigger in size or weight, but it feels and plays plenty bigger. I will keep both because they are each great, yet different. And I still want to put foam in my little Rumble 15 like I see other people have done.

I like the idea of waiting on a used 200C. You can still chain the 200C into the 100C as well giving you a 240 watt 115+112 rig. Might be a bit of work volume leveling both amps but it'd be thunderous I bet!

I didn't go for a 500C because I like just bringing the amp head, my pedals, and my bass back and forth from practice. Super light to carry. Besides I can't use speakers at home to rock out 97% of the time.

The Stage 800 is a pretty wicked end-game rig itself though. All the pedals, amp models, and watts you could want with the ability to run 2 extension cabs. Really though if your Rumble is loud enough it's good. Don't matter which model.

On a side note, whenever the Andertons YouTube channel uses one of these amps in a video they take a minute to gush over how good it is. I always find that bit funny because I've never noticed them do it with any other rig behind them.

I'm not much for fanboyism but damn these amps really make me feel like one.

Have you checked your Gain control? A little goes a long way, especially with active basses, I also play EBMM basses, and mine is rarely past 9 o’clock.

Welcome Rumbler #943! Glad to see you have joined us here. That 100 is one of my favorite Rumbles. I use mine for band practice and for gigs with good FOH support. Rumble On!

Thanks for the response. I'll try that next time I have an issue connecting. I keep software and drivers up to date so that's not an issue.
