Local store in Stuart, FL, has a '62 Blonde/Oxblood head and cab for sale. I didn't play through it b/c I'd wind up taking out a loan to get it.And my R200C does just fine for 1/7th the $. It's on Reverb.
Groovy! That would be a pre-CBS 'brown face' and among the first piggy back Fender Bassman. With the original 'Wheel o' Cheese' knobs that Rumbles now sport. I cannot remember if these had 40 or 50 watts RMS.
I used to play some pretty good sized rooms w/ 1 of those(a '63). It held its own.

No, the speakers are in parallel. How loud are you trying to play?
My R200 weighs 35 lbs. That's only 5 lbs more than my tiny solid-state 75W Polytone Mini-Brute II, yet the latter only occupies 1/3 the volume of the R200.
Question time:
If you have a Rumble 500 head (and lovin' it) but do gigs with FOH support, would you:
A) get a Rumble 112 cab for stage fill; or
B) get a Rumble 200 combo ??????

All right! As promised, here are the pics of today’s arrival: a v2 Rumble 350 head. This is what I decided on after going back and forth between the v3 200h and the 500h.
It's the head I thought would be best to go with my twin 115s.
I feel like the combination of this head and these cabs is the best of the v2 and v3 Rumble lines put together.
I hunted up a head in great condition for a great price!
It fits perfectly on top of the v3 115 cabs. The feet and divots line up and everything!
By itself:
With one buddy for a 220 watt 115 rig:
With both buddies for a 370 watt two 115 rig:
And the whole gang:
It even came with the sticker on the top and original carrying case:
I’m pretty happy!
I feel pretty prepared for whatever situation I may find myself in.
