Hello all. I found this thread and it would seem to be the place to ask my questions. I was up in Columbus(Ohio) today hitting up all the music stores I could and putting most of their bass sections back in tune(rare treat for me). I noticed as I went what amps I used more and more. I liked the 300w acoustic head I was playing through initially, but I usually ended up with a rumble 100 or 150. I just love the sound of these amps, and I also love the simple eq
Anywho, this brought up a few questions. I sold my amp head a while back, so I need a new one eventually. I have been checking out the rumble 350 head.
1) Does it sound like it`s little brothers?(specifically the 100 and 150, never played on other rumbles)
2) Does it normally come with the fancy little carrying bag? I see at various online retailers, and with no handle on the amp it would be awesome if it came with it.
3) Any major issues with these? I know people who swear by the 100 and 150`s, so I doubt it, but you guys would know if there were.
4) Not a huge deal breaker, but how does the onboard overdrive do? I play mostly classic rock type stuff, so I just need some grit now and then, not full blown death metal distortion.
I think I tried the combo versions with enough basses today that I can probably say they will work with most any bass to get the sound I like
Thanks guys,
Jake
