Fender Rumble Club

I have an ancient POS electric piano that I've hooked up to my 200c. The amp has no problem handling the piano, including the "bass" section(switchable). Powered speakers/amp basically the same thing.
I've run the headphone out from my keyboard to my Rumble 75 and it works great. Your post made me wonder if running the keyboard into the effects loop (return?) on my Rumble 200 would work as well. And if so, can you still plug your bass into the regular input?

Since the effects return bypasses the pre-amp section, prolly not. You could try it, but all gains/volumes "off" to start, including instruments.

Couple of pics of my band from New Years Eve. This was our first gig, big room, dance floor about 125ish people. Rumble 500c/210cab handled it no problem. EQ: Low 10 - Low Mid 11 - High Mid 11:30 - Treble - 12 Gain 9:00 - Master at noon. We played our 2nd gig Jan 2nd, smaller room, same settings except Master at 11:00. Had a blast! :bassist:

I've got an opportunity to pick up a used Studio 40 for $239. From what I've read, you can run the 40 into my 500C via the FX send/return giving me more power(I think) and the ability to use the effects from the Studio through the 500C. Is this worth the effort/expense, given that I already have a B3n that I use and like. Pros and cons appreciated.

Wow, dude! That's about a 33% discount! Fantastic deal!

Yes, I have a R500c and can only dream of getting a Studio 40 to run into it. Yes, Studio fx send to 500 fx return would get you just a small notch down from the Stage 800!!

Worth it compared to the B3n? Do you really like getting lots of different sounds? By lots of different amps, lots of different cabs, lots of different effects? Is variety a spice of your life? Would remote control by phone, or tablet, app be of use to you? I have no qualms answering "YES"! Especially at that price!! But, that's just me. I dunno 'bout you. Do you?

Have you perused the Rumble Stage & Studio manual to see if it interests you? That, and much more info, is also linked on the wiki page in my signature.

Good luck, either way!

Don't do it, you'll hate it, let me buy it instead!!! :D

You make it sound like a no-brainer, G-Dog. It seems to have a lot of upgrades over the B3n. I'm sure I could sell the Zoom to recoup some of my $$$. Or at least give me the money to get the foot pedal that, I'm sure, I'll need. Damn GAS! I just need to stay off this site. Haha. Like that'll happen.

Sorry JAC. G-Dog talked me into it. It was on the GC site. I went ahead and gave my cc# and will pick it up Saturday. Figured I better not wait until then, though.

Hi all, looking into getting the rumble 500 head and pairing it with two 12 cabs. I've seen some conflicting information online - will this be able to comfortably keep up with a full band ensemble? a drummer, two guitarists and keyboard? I don't want to have to struggle or have the bottom end compromised...

I think you should be fine. I've used the Rumble v3 500 head with a GK Neo 212II cabinet, and it's really nice-- plenty of volume and low end.
