Fender Rumble Club

The Rumble 200c with a 115 and a P bass is magical!!!
You'll love the combination!
While I don't disagree, I'm kinda fond of these: R200c over R112 w/ 1967 NR TBird.

I never thought of that combination before. I like the 115 extension cab with the 15 in 200. Something about that sound just seems warm as anything possible. BUT, I never thought of the wonderful low grit it would amplify from a beautiful Tbird! I especially like yours. Something different about it though. Is it custom or has it just been too long since I've seen one?

Custom pickguard. Original cracked on upper horn(the NR's do that). I still have the original but had that one made by "Pickguardian". He does really nice work; has lots of finishes/colors(not affiliated, BTW)including 'stock' replacements. I just wanted something different from the white.:) The 112 adds a 'presence'(?)that I like a lot. Unfortunately, most of the places we play, the 200c is overkill. The 112 stays home under its cover(sigh).

Who woulda thunk it? The OD on the Rumble is very good for guitar! This may have been covered in this lengthy thread but I'm very surprised how good it is. I had a little spare time so I compared it to an Egnater Tweaker 15 all tube head and my Fulltone 500. I tell ya - I like the OD on the Rumble better for guitar than even the Egnater or Fulltone! I know this comes down to sheer opinion and taste but I though it would be a slam dunk that the Rumble's solid state OD wouldn't have a chance against all tube or MOSFET but she really does have a great sound. I'm thinking the Rumble can be a "do it all" amp for me covering both bass and guitar duties. The only thing I'd add when using guitar through it is perhaps a reverb pedal. One man's opinion!
Then make it another man’s opinion as well!! My Les Paul sounds amazing through my 200c I use an Overdrive pedal and a reverb pedal and Wow Great!! Pinch Harmonics and all!!

It is as you say.
Mo' Rumbles Is Mo' Betta! :smug:
I had the pleasure yesterday of testing a new Fender Tele Bass with the split coil Precision pick up at a store through a fender Rumble 100. I was pleasantly surprised at how much juice and fat low end that little amp could put out! I'm convinced that the amp can get so loud without distorting that you could reasonably use it in a medium level volume situation without being drowned out by the drums or guitars. They're asking $399 Canadian and I am seriously considering picking one up to bring to those gigs where I don't need a 600 watt - 4 ohm cabinet and head....:smug:

Goner, do you think a single 100 could handle most of your gigs? Asking for a friend. ;)
No, a 40 could handle most of our gigs. And that's w/o FOH. Yeah, a 100 would be plenty. I've said b4, if I'd known about the 2x100s trick-I love 12s-I mighta gone that route(I don't use the "tweeter").

Picked up the Studio 40 over the weekend. Still messing with it, but have a few questions. When running it out of the FX send to my 500c, is there any other volume control other than the 40? Wasn't real happy having to turn the master up so high to get a usable volume. Pretty sure the 40 alone will not be able to keep up with a drummer(hence the Studio 40 name), maybe an acoustic and a cajon, but that would be about it. Also when trying to connect the Bluetooth with my phone to play music, it asked me about a password and then said it wasn't the correct pw. Also connecting with my tablet through the tone app it couldn't find the amp. (said that Bluetooth wasn't turned on or connected to another source) I double checked and the Bluetooth was turned on. This was a used amp. Do I need to go in and clear all of the settings/changes/additions that the previous owner put in? Any help is appreciated.

I can tell you that my Studio 40 I have to turn the master up full/all the way when I am using head phones, which is most of the time. And it is not that loud. I have not tried to use the FX send or line outs yet.

Of course I got mine strictly for practice. Which I love it's tone!
