Fender Rumble Club

I thought you were being quite helpful actually!

Thank you, Thundar. But I now see the aggressive way I "helped" actually negated the actual help. Nobody should be treated like that. I was wrong to do so.

I'm sorry, and I apologize to all here at the Rumble Club for my lapse of tact. That's not who I aspire to be. I will try to do better in the future.

New Rumble 500 Combo here (holding off on the 210 extension until i get back some investment through gigs), have yet to have a good loud practice with the band, but the day I got it I had a tiny test in the house and holymotherofgod stuff wanted to roll off the walls lol. So far just practice by myself at home at tolerable levels, but really liking this box! Just waiting for the new Ibanez to arrive...
What Ibanez do you have coming? They sure make some nice ones!

So do you set the HP filter by ear or by some cabinet rating? I just got one and am curious. I do like how to tightens up the bottom end.
I would like that info too.. I use my ear when using my Mesa's HPF (when I hear the boom) but it occurred to me to try matching the factory set port frq. with the hpf .. Just noodling around playing with tones..lol I can't find that info anywhere though and I know they do set them ( frq) to a certain Hz..

Welcome Rumbler #1049! When you get to that practice, prepare your self for accolades from your bandmates. Rumble On!

Thanks Reymundo. That's what I'm looking for. I'm buying one. I did go back a while and didn't see anything but then again I've been away. Toodles. Dav, resign my number.
Sorry, but your number, as all others are, is chiseled in stone on the Leo Fender Memorial Monumemt. Don't leave us over a disagreement with one member who, I can promise you, is quite contrite and regrets his comments. Rumble on Rumbler # 741!

I played a big band(5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, guitar*, bass, drums, girl singer) gig last night. Assisted living facility dining room, older crowd, no need to be loud. Used the R40-w/ plenty of headroom left- and my Ibby AGB 200 0607181547-00.jpg 0425180848-00.jpg * the 'guitar man' is the regular bassist; the keyboard man was outta town. Lotta the band liked the guitar/bass/drums rhythm section.

That's a very cool looking bass!
