What about your Bassman 800 head?
I just ordered a Rumble LT25. I like all the crazy sounds. Plus, I'm going to be starting lessons at my house. The instructor won't need to drag his amp. He can use the Rumble 40, or the 25. Don't care which. 
This is from the book that came with my Rumble 40. Looks like the 200 by design can drive a 4 ohm load. Not much information in the block diagram to even start thinking about what it would take to replace the amplifier section in the 40.
FWIW, the 40 is plenty enough for me for home use, and it has a balanced line out for connection to a PA if I need more.
Exactly.IF I understand the manual,it's 140W @ 8 ohms;adding a second 8 ohm cab gives you 200W @ 4 ohms. Or something like that
I just did 4 gigs and one rehearsal in one week with my R40-and no FOH.
That manual is also available online & it reminds me that the 200 & 500 have a FAN. I'll bet the 40 would get HOT at 4 Ohms w/o the fan & not be a good idea, LOL!
Aah, just drill a few holes in the top to let the heat escape.
Pour some ice-water in there every 10 minutes.
I would not risk that personally.
Welcome Rumble #1057. That 25 actually has about the same output as the old B-15s. IIRC, it was rated at 35W. Rumble On!

Hmmm, now that I think about it, with that rig and a Fender Mustang GT 100 to swap out with the Rumble Studio 40, I'll be ready when Sir Paul calls for me to replace Brian Ray due to retirement! (He was very disappointed that I wouldn't quit my day job before, and he had to call Brian the last time.
) Yeah, I can handle the Lennon rhythm licks with my Fender Modern Player Coronado and I prefer to sing the Lennon harmonies, since Paul's high harmonies can, occasionally, tax my vocal chords. Yeah, that's the plan. No foolin'!
Traded in my 500 combo today for the 800 head and another Rumble 2x10. Hopefully it gets here for my college festival gig on the 12th. 800w, vertical stacked 4x10, can't wait!
Just a heads up, GC is still honoring the $499 pre-sale price on the 800 (even though they have them in stock ready to ship) and they do a 10% discount on trade ins. That means I got the new head for $449, crazy. Theoretically you could trade in any junker piece of equipment you have laying around and get that price plus the measly pittance they offer you for your gear.

After waiting for 6 weeks, pre-ordered on 2/14 from CG, it's finally here!
UPS said the delivery window was in between 1pm and 5pm, it came at 1:05pm, nice!
The gig bag seems nice and has two accessory pockets, a bigger front pocket and a smaller one on back that could hold a pack of strings or other small flat items. I was surprised to see Fender included a 2 foot speaker cable with genuine Neutrik NL2FX speakon connectors, well done Fender! Included is a footswitch for the overdrive/distortion feature. When this amp was first announced, I read somewhere that the footswitch to be included was the Fender footswitch with the LED indicator on it. This one is older styled one with no LED. And of course, included is a 6 foot 14 gauge power cord.
"So... HOW DOES IT SOUND?!" you ask.
I don't know, haha!
I'll get a chance to play with it later today and put it through it's paces. I'll also compare it to my Rumble 500 head.

If I'm not mistaken zZounds actually carries the 500 and the 800 head on their website might take a look.No April Fools about it, I managed to acquire the only Rumble 800 head at a SA warehouse in CA. I'm hoping to see it maybe Thursday, or Friday.

I'm having trouble figuring something out on my Stage 800, maybe you folks can help me.
I would like to be able to be playing with a preset, like standard SVT and then step on the footswitch to add an effect just as I could with a stompbox. I can't figure this out. I feel stooopid...
One idea is to make a copy of the preset and add the effect to the copied preset. I don't know how the footswitch works but I'll bet there's a way to toggle back and forth between the two presets.
Well I sorta jumpship on the amp head business here because of being on a fixed income disability you get what you can afford so but I didn't get rid of my combo it's still here.P.S...that is a Fender BXD 210 CAB.
