Fender Rumble Club

Hey, Rumblers!
Once again the practice room gods have smiled upon me.
Check out what I found in the shop when I went for my lesson today.
Thought you might dig this blast from the past. Looks like a v2 Rumble 30.
Anybody got stats, weight, experience with these?
Wow! 2 inputs?

If $188 is the price, that is too high. I'm seeing them on the innerwebz for $99. It would be a great practice amp at a reasonable price.

It is! Looks to be in excellent condition.

It's heavy for it's size because the cabinet is made from MDF, and the owner's manual does not list the weight. The 10" Fender 'Special Design' speaker is very good and is the very same as is used in today's V3 Rumble 40 & Studio 40. I remember these sold for $179 brand new & shipped, so $188 is outrageous. You can buy a brand new Rumble 40 for just $11 more. Plus you could get a brand new Rumble LT25 for that same $11 more. I'd say $77-88 would be fair market value. I'd rather have the V2 Rumble 30 over the $99 V3 Rumble 25. https://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Original/10001/OM_leg_bassamp_Rumble_15_30_75_2010.pdf

... ... I definitely don't need another Rumble Combo. Two is enough. ;-)

Does that mean I have to sell two of the four I have? :(

Speaking as a recent owner of my 2nd concurrent Rumble (a Studio) I would add the qualifier that two Rumbles is only enough when at least one of them is a Studio or Stage. 'Cause, you know, with their 100 different presets, they each count for more than one! [Edit to add: the LT25 also counts for more the one, but a little less than a Stage or Studio due to fewer presets]

Now, a Stage and Studio or LT25, with or without some other Rumbles, could be heaven.

Gravey, I think your 4 Rumbles is just about right for no Stage or Studio. So, ... ...

Rumble On!
.

I think I'm covered.

Thanks, @Linnin
Yeah. The weights I found online were 35 pounds for the v2 Rumble 30 and 55 pounds for the v2 Rumble 75.
I was surprised. Looks like they didn’t figure out the lightweight idea until v3. For that reason I’m glad my cabs are v3. Plus, I think v3 looks better.
IMO v2 stuff is UUUUGLY, but it sounds so good! I’m glad I went with a v2 head-I just try not to look at it.

Tape an 8x10 glossy of a v3 head in front of it.:smug:
