Also having a Rumble Studio 40, I've wondered what the best way to augment it would be for a (still smallish) venue that the RS40 couldn't quite handle by itself... I think the Rumble 100 would stack well and have enough extra volume, but so many folks here like the Rumble 200 in general.@Kipp Harrington would probably have something to say about this as well. My Combo 200 with a Rumble 15 Cab, Vintage Button on, is as close to the tube amp and 2-JBL D140F's that I had back in the '60's. The Rumble Studio 40 I have does even better, all be it for smaller venues. I do not have the money or the back for a tube amp at this time, but I am happy.

If you don't mind my answer, the Rumble 100 is plenty fine. It's just that the Rumble 200 is much better.
I believe those that prefer the R200 also prefer 15" drivers. I know I do. A Studio 40 coupled with an R100 gives you 140 watts. A Studio 40 coupled with an R200 gives you 180 watts (not much of a difference wattage-wise). A Studio 40 coupled with an R200 and an extension cab gives you 240 watts. The extra 100 watts could make a difference, especially in the extension cab if another Rumble 15" cab.
A Stage 800 combo on top of a pair of Rumble 115's would be a serious scrotum shaker.

Well, some of us are curious. What draws you to the Rumble 500? Tone? Rig replacement? Backup? Enquiring minds, ya know.

I used to have an Ampeg B5R with an 18 & 4x10...I no longer have said rig (kicks self in the wahoo)
anyway honestly I just watched some videos on it then went to GC to plug in. All I had to do was play three notes to tell it was going to have enough balls for what I need...and it was in my pricerange. it's not what I used to have but it's what I got & so far it's been holding up well.

I love my Rumble 100, but it doesn’t have a speaker-level out like the 200 does

One other consideration...
If you also play guitar, or keys, the 200c sounds great. The 100c does not have the tweeter.

Yeah I'm thinking if you don't want to ever have children or if you have kids and don't want any more you can either A) have a vasectomy or B) stand in front of my 410 and 15" stack with the 800HD head cranked and hit the low B string
That's one of the reasons I went with the 200c. That and I like 15s.
Yup. Played my POS piano through mine. Sounded choice and weighed a helluva lot less than this>
Many thanks for the suggestions so far... remember, this application is as a (powered) extension to a Studio 40 (which has a tweeter) and the proposed venue would probably be easily handled with 140W (no additional cabs). Would you still see a value in sound quality spending the extra $200?
