SR (SoulReflection) reminded me from one of his posts elsewhere that it is the US Memorial day Monday 27th (similar to our Anzac Day which we had in Aust and NZ a month ago) so have a good day all.

Congratulations. I’m a fan of 15s too so I have the 500 combo and 1x15 extension cab. I’ve warmed to the 2x10s though and can EQ to get a pretty decent sound. I think a high pass filter is really helpful because it doesn’t do much with frequencies below 60hz.After returning my Rumble 500 and going thru an Ampeg BA115 and BA210 within a few days, I’m back in the Rumble club with a 200c! The BA115 was cool but didn’t have an extension out for any cabs which I didn’t like, so I returned it and got the BA210. I was reminded why I returned the 500, I don’t like the sound of a 2x10 at all regardless of manufacturer I guess. Seems I prefer a 15 in single speaker configuration, 2x12s or 4x10s. Two 10s just sound too weak on their own to me.
Compared the BA210 to the 200 in the GC demo room for a good 30 minutes because I was concerned that it only has 140 watts and the 210 has double. As we know, watts don’t equal volume and the 210 wasn’t really noticeably louder to my ears. Also like having two mid controls and a gain as well as a master volume. I also like the variety of available matching cabs in the Rumble line. As a side note, although I think the BA series is slightly better made, the 210 makes this crackling noise intermittently. One I had played in store briefly a few weeks ago did the same thing. Wasn’t thrilled with that.

Great choice! I have an Ampeg BA210 with about 30 hours of moderate (volume hasn’t been past 4.5) playing on it and it’s “rattling”. This occurred about 8 or 9 months ago and I haven’t got it taken care of. I have read several other posts on TB of people experiencing the same issue... WTH?!!! I bought a Rumble 500 head and Rumble 410 cab and never looked back. Also added the Rumble 115 cab a few months ago. Ampeg’s “entry level” combos are garbage. Not sure how their “pro” line of amps are, but I would never recommend any of their BA series combos. After returning my Rumble 500 and going thru an Ampeg BA115 and BA210 within a few days, I’m back in the Rumble club with a 200c! Or you may join a bunch of us wishing for a 2x12.<update> Email sent to Fender.Thanks. I did like the 500c with the Rumble 115 cab when I played the two together a few months ago. I just don’t need that much right now and if I’m only doing one combo, I prefer a single 15 to two 10s. I may just add a 115 cab to the 200 if the time comes where I need more.

As I've said b4, this is my practice amp-200W/2x15-purchased in '70(warranty expired-Unfortunately, I've had my second v3 25 die this past week. Both suffered the same malady. They started with an electronic version of tourette symdrome. They would make sudden high volume "farting" noises. Then added a lot of static, but I could still use it if I didn't play too hard. The first is now unusable. Its only capability is high volume electronic farting. The other is in the early stages.
Has anyone else had this happen to their 25 or any other Rumble model? I'm reluctant to buy another even though I need a small practice amp. Both are out of warranty and I'm sure repair costs would be more that replacement costs.
I really hope you get your wish but my fear is that I'd be gassed into buying two of themOr you may join a bunch of us wishing for a 2x12.<update> Email sent to Fender.

I see the empty flipflops in front of the amp and this comes to mindAs I've said b4, this is my practice amp-200W/2x15-purchased in '70(warranty expired-) and I'm not grunting it into the van any more, so-practice amp.View attachment 3428773

Correct, only the 25s and both of them. Could it be contagious?Out of all your many Rumbles only the humble 25s have had this problem? And both of them get the same problem within the same week? Odd coincidence. Do they have adjacent serial numbers/identical twins? Over 5 years old?
If I worked the Search facility correctly, I found exactly one other instance of a Rumble 25 farting out! And that was 11 years ago! A V1!
