Fender Rumble Club

I'm not sure why anyone needs a number but i'll bite.

Ibanez GSRM20 Short scale
Fender Rumble 40

I play guitar in high school and haven't been in a band since then and went years without playing at all. At 67 years old I decided to try bass.

Welcome Rumbler #1084! We are but numbers. Our numbers define us more that our names. How many Steve Costas are there in this world, but how many have your social security number? Only your and your phone number is unique. If you were in the military before they switched to using SSNs, you had that number all to yourself. And now, after all this, you are the only Fender Rumble Club member with the number 1084. Rumble on!

Does the Fender Rumble 800 HEAD have the ability to sync up with the app and get all of those on board effects? It seems it would.. but can't find any concrete information... I hope it is not just the combo that has the effects.
The 800 head is pretty much like the 500 head. Only the Studio (combo) has all the wizbangs.

Well, it's the Rumble Studio 40 and the Rumble Stage 800 combos that have all the wizbangs. And the Rumble LT25 combo has some of the wizbangs (but not wifi or Bluetooth for the phone app).

Here's where you can find plenty of concrete information, NO_Camper:

CONCRETE INFO...1 cement : 2 sand : 3 gravel by volume.

Winter here in Aust and an icy blast from Antarctica causing heavy snow falls in the mountains for the skiers...but every time I practise with my Rumble 500C and the 115 Rumble cab, its pushing that much chilled air around the room causing a draught (draft) the wife keeps turning the heater up higher lol. First time shes ever accused me of chilling the room down by playing my bass.

I put this posting in our Combo Club too.

On a different subject for a few minutes, plus this tip may help save some of you a few pennies before purchasing a new set of strings...try this...it wont cost you too much.
Maybe some of you guys and gals may not know of this little simple method I use to clean up a used set of strings. I have been using this method for many many years, whereas before that I used to boil my string sets for an extra lease of life, but rust sometimes set in if the string wasnt dried carefully...although I always used a hair dryer lol.
Check out the system ive been using for at least 20 years, in this link. It works best for me and the strings come up brand new and better than boiling. Hope it helps someone.

Took the plunge today and bought a Stage 800. Put it through its paces at a band rehearsal this afternoon and wow...seriously impressed. Cant wait to start tweaking the presets to my liking and work out some groupings for the footswitch so i can easily access the sounds i want on the fly.
Very happy with my purchase.

Welcome to TalkBass and the Rumble Club, Tim. And congratulations on the new Stage! That's quite an awesome amp.

Was just discussing some Stage & Studio presets over in The Combo Club and wondered which ones our Rumblers here like?

I’ve noticed, every time I play my r100, I’m always right up at the speaker, as it sits in my room. But the other day, I had in Munich lounge, and I wanted to test out the length of my cable, so I was pretty far from it, and it sounded much better! Also helps because it’s a bigger room, but the clarity just came alive, and not as much boom. I was sitting down so the speaker was probably facing my neck/chest level rather than my knee cap level when I’m standing, and that makes a big difference too.

My R100 will be mainly for home/practice use and band practice, so for me and to help the other guys out, it might be a good investment in an amp stand for my little 100 combo. To help all of us hear me better and just overall improve the function of our jamming.

My guitarist has a 2x10 fender champion and that thing sings even set on the lowest output volumes, so he has no trouble with that.

A lot of Rumble owners use these stands to get the sound around ear level...check them out at the website below. No affiliation btw.

I use the "standard" MudStand for my R40, but the R200c fits on it so the R100 would be no problem.
