I never played through a Fender Rumble before but finally got to play through one of the Rumble combos at an open mic a few nights ago. I can't remember what model name was on the top panel but I looked at the Fender website and, based on the size and shape, it looks like it was probably a Rumble 200 combo.
Which ever combo it was, I was pretty impressed with it. Sounded great while we were playing, it sounded great while I was listening to the other full bands that came in, and it sounded great when the house band was up there backing the individuals. I played my Stingray 5HH and I can remember seeing a few different types of Jazzes (couple of 4s and a 5, one of the 4s was a Deluxe), a Precision, a Rickenbacker, and I think another I can't remember right now. They all sounded really nice.
Wish I could remember which specific model it was but, whichever it was, it did a really nice job handling lots of different types of basses and different players.
The open mic venue not nearby where you can just casually drop in to "see if you left something there"?
dave-o, there's a
Rumble Summary Info chart comparing features, sizes, prices and weights on the
Rumble Club Wiki page linked in my signature. Questions beyond that are the specialty of our helpful cadre of Club members. We look forward to seeing Rumble pics from all new members , in case you're interested.

Joined a band, so looking to upgrade my Rumble 100. Too many choices!
Classic rock, blues, country, etc. I'd like to stick to combos for simplicity. I'm intrigued by the modeling in the Studio 40 and Stage 800, too.
1) Add a 200, and daisy-chain the two when needed. Stack the 100 on the 200.
2) Buy a 500 or 800.
or...
3) Buy a Studio 40 AND a 500 for only a hundred bucks more than the 800. The 40 can be used for practice, daisy-chained to the 500 for stage volume, and I've always got a backup.
Comments and experiences appreciated!
The possibilities are endless!
0.3) Buy the Studio 40 and stack it on, and chain* it to, your 100.
0.6) Buy another 100 and chain 'em, like a few others here do. Use one or both as needed.
0.9) Buy the Studio and another 100 and chain* all 3 of 'em! Yep, easily done.
. 1) Yeah, 100 on toppa 200 would be cool. Lacks the modeling, though.
1.5) Buy the Studio and the 200. Chain* the Studio to the 100, or the 200, or both as needed!
. 2) The 500 or Stage 800 gives you 350W or 400W alone, but need a cab to get 500 or 800.
2.5) Buy the 500 and a 210 cab for full 500W, use with or without cab as needed.
. 3) Yes! I have a Studio and 500, but haven't had need to chain 'em yet. Studio enough, so far.
3.5) Buy 500 & 210 cab & trade 100 for Studio. Chain* Studio to 500, w/w/o cab as needed.
. 4.) Buy Stage 800 & 210 cab. Stage is good for practice, too.
. 5) Buy Studio and chain* it to Rumble 800 HD head & four 210 cabs! Insure against damage!!
*Chain most Rumbles FX Send to FX Return, but Stage & Studio must use FX Send to Instrument Input, or XLR Out to FX Return. Because their FX Send is fixed at low level.
