Al-right, peppy! That's an awesome, and lightweight(!), rig ya got there! @NDpeppers, you are now member #1233 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put your Rumble number in your signature and be instantly recognized for your good taste. And feel free to discuss, ask and answer here in The Club and to browse the Rumble Club Wiki page, linked in my signature, for all manner of Rumble knowledge.
And, ND, please tell ys more of your Rumble journey and general bass experience so we xan get to know you better. Then, we all, young and old, man and woman, experienced and newby, can all . . . .
Rumble On!
.
You should be well and truly equipped for any eventuality. I have the 500c w/210 extension cab, a Rumble Studio 40 and an ordinary Rumble 40, as well as a Rumble 15, and consider myself able to handle most situations. Now I have that 500c and 210 ext cab, a Rumble 200c, Rumble 15 for bedroom practice, and a Fender Bassman 200c. Later down the line I want to get hte Rumble 800 head.![]()
Here is a picture of my Fender family:

The family consists of a Squier Vintage-Modified Jaguar short-scale bass, a Jazz Fretless bass, a BG29 Acoustic short-scale bass, and a Rumble 40. The Rumble is on top of a Mastercraft portable toolbox to transport my cables, effects, and stuff.
I switched to bass (from sax) around 30 years ago, but have only played sporadically since. I hope to hook up with a group (post-Covid) once I improve my chops. The Rumble has a great sound. I use the "flat" setting with Contour engaged with my fretless (my main bass). If the gigs require it, I will get a Rumble 100, but I would like to play with a low volume-type group.
I look forward to getting a number. Thank you.
I just bought a like new Rumble Studio 40 from a fellow TB'er - do I need to wait for it to get shipped to me and get a picture before I get a wonderful number to this elite club?
Cheers,
Rob
Well, there's photos of this SMEXY amp on the classified page - but I'll play by the rules, and wait for it and post an appropriate pic then!
Nice rig!!!Congratulations! You are now officially ready to Rumble!
Great setup! That’s a beautiful bass!I’ve been rumbled!
I started with the 25 but didn’t like the sound of the 8” speaker so I sold it.
Got the 40, and a week later the “buy once, cry once” mentality kicked in so I returned it and settled on the 500.

That's quite a Rumble journey, rukker! But my own Rumble 500 combo doesn't seem to me like something to "settle" for. @Ruknrole, you are now member #1235 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put your Rumble number in your signature and wear it with pride. That R500c will certainly do you proud. You might wanna checkout some of the various settings in the Rumble Club TONE Pool, on the Rumble Club Wiki page, to see what it can do.Congrats! You will be impressed that so much tone and punch can be contained in such a light weight package. I'll be interested to hear how that ext cab works out for you. Those 12 inch cabs are HARD to find. Wish Fender hadn't discontinued them.Just bought a new Rumble 500 2X10 combo sight unseen on Musicians Friend. I am hoping to be impressed but honestly don't know what to expect since I have never owned Fender amps/cabs. Bought this because 500 watts at $600 from a "name" company in a 10 inch speaker configuration was about the cheapest I could find. Plus the reviews in all the music apps and markets were great. My last setup, which I sold 2 years ago was a Markbass Jeff Berlin 15 inch combo with another 15 inch cab extension. Yes, two 15s hosting an American fender Jazz bass. Man do I wish I had that back. My new setup will be this Fender rumble 500 210 and a Vintage Brand P-bass. Old set up cost me $2150. New setup costs $1350 after I add Fender 12 inch extension cab. I can only hope the new setup somewhat rivals the old.
