Fender Rumble Club

Fortunately, thanks to @Droopy_TX, any overwritten stock presets are easily reset using the preset templates linked in the Droopy_TX Preset Experience sub-section of the Tone App Support section of the Rumble Club Wiki page. He painstakingly captured all the settings in all the stock presets of the Rumble Studio 40 & Stage 800. Dunno about LT25 presets, though.

You can do a factory reset from the app or directly from the amp with a combination of button presses.

Yes, but doesn't that erase any preset tweaks you've got stored?

That's part of what I was hoping for in the Tone App for PC/Mac, was to be able to store, and restore, individual presets without changing any others. (sigh)

Unfortunately no, not like your iPhone where you can factory restore and then download your personalized backup from the cloud.

In today's "World of Cool Stuff", I was practicing through the headphone socket last night (don't EVER wake 4 year old twins at 9pm) on one of my more overdriven presets. I let the note ring, and it began to feedback. It was a little while before I realized... wait. I'm using headphones. I shouldn't get any feedback. They're actually modelling that, digitally.

I thought that was neat.

The Stage & Studio have a Backup/Restore feature that lets you save all your presets (tweaked or not) & setlists to the Tone App cloud. The kicker is, you have to restore all your presets (tweaked or not) & setlists from the Tone App cloud, not just individuals. (sigh)

I never thought of backing my presets to the cloud...May come in handy if I delete any by mistake..What do you mean you can't back up just individuals Dog?...

I'm sorry, 'Cuda. That's why we have the Rumble LT25, Studio 40 &Stage 800 sub-thread, so we modeling Rumblers can discuss this stuff there and not annoy you non-modeling Rumblers with our "tech talk".

In this case, it didn't work and I apologize. But we'll try to do better. Right, @ChickWithaRic & @Buzzment?
.
Oh, I don't mind. That's just a neat feature. I'll have to try one sometime.

Well, it's not my intention to try to hide the modeling Rumbles. On the contrary, I try to mention and link them to anyone considering various Rumble versions

You're certainly welcome to peruse the various links, including manuals, and videos in the Stage 800 & Studio 40 section of the Rumble Club Wiki page for gits & shiggles. :smug:

Of course there are links & videos in the LT25 section of the Wiki, too, in case you might prefer the smaller, less expensive version with equally great tones!

Hi everyone, can I please get a membership number for my Stage 800?

Attaboy, Tommy, I knew you could do it! @thomas, you are now member #1308 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. You forgot to include a pic of your Rumble 100, but I included it in the copy of your post, to emphasize your bilateral status as both a modeling Rumbler and a non-modeling Rumbler. Please post non-modeling topics here, in the main Club thread, and modeling topics in the LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800 sub-thread that you are already familiar with. Also, checkout the Rumble Club Wiki page for the ultimate in Rumble wisdom & knowledge for modelers and non-modelers.

Tell us of your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular, Tommy. We have all kinds here, so you're bound to fit in! But we all, of course, love to ... ...

Rumble On!
