Fender Rumble Club

You can add a 1-15 extension cab to a Rumble 200 V3 combo and it stacks quite nicely with the Combo on it's side:

Harrumph! So, is this what you have in mind, tommy? From the Extension Speaker Cabinets section of your Rumble Club Wiki page.

Hey, that looks like mine!;)

Oops! Busted! Uh, ... yeah, ... uh, ... could be, Souly. :bag: Thanks? heh, heh, heh .... When I steal, ... uh, ... borrow ... pix for the wiki I don't keep up with where they come from and, thus, can never find their source again to give credit where due! heh, heh ... Sorry 'bout that.

The (notso) simple answer is which sounds better to you. There are Rumblers who have both configurations. For me the ideal extension for my 200c is the R212 cab-that they never built. :banghead: It's really a matter of personal taste-and OCDness. And cost(maybe).
OMG if a Rumble 212 was to come about I would be first in line!

No problem, I am honored to have made your pages ;).

I also have a "mini-stack" with a Studio 40 on top:

Actually I have both (all three) and have used both combination which sound good. I ahve also used the 210 pluc 115 "mini stack" with my Eden WT400 as the amp which I prefer these days.

I cannot find a better choice between the two, they both sound good coupled with the Rumble 500

I know it’s all personal but good to know that both combinations work for you.
still leaning toward 115 :)

Question: can you use let say 210 speakers from the combo with extension cab with another amp (Bypassing Rumble amp)?

Bypassing the Rumble 500 amp would require some modifications to the output/input section. There is a mod post in the Rumble stuff. I have thought about that!

Hmmm, you can bypass the Rumble pre-amp and still use its power amp, without any modifications, like a powered speaker, by connecting the FX Send of another amp to the Rumble's FX Return. The Rumble may, or may not, have an extension cab connected to it (if it has that connection), for more or less power from the Rumble's power amp. See the Connecting Combos Together section of your Rumble Club Wiki page for more explanations.

Is that your question?

Or, as juan correctly points out, if you just want to use your Rumble combo as an extension cab for another amp, you need to modify it (and void the warranty) to totally separate the Rumble amp from its speaker(s) and add a connection to the speaker(s) for the other amp. See the "Separating Combo's Amp and Speakers" links in the Rumble Modifications section of your Rumble Club Wiki page for photos and directions. ;)

This does seem to be a useful modification. However, after reading those links I discovered that I already had two older Bassman combos with that facility already built-in! I then remembered seeing it in their manuals and thinking what a neat idea! But, I never actually used it, nor had any need to. Maybe, someday ... ...

Yes, that was my question :) thank you G-Dog. I am still far from putting these ideas into life but it is good to have some knowledge first. And the most important is to know that it is doable.

Well, connecting FX Send on one amp to FX Return on another is easy enough with an instrument cable. Easy way to expand your rig, too!
