Fender Rumble Club

I do to @LennyJ it goes back even further. I was on the wiki page yesterday and saw some chat streams from 2009 at least.

Actually, this Rumble Club thread was started on March 25, 2013 by @BumbleB, who was last seen on TB in April 2019. It currently has over 2.8 million views!! The Rumble Club Wiki page was begun in July 2017 and includes links from many different sources, some of which may be older than The Club thread itself. ;)

I don't know just when TB itself started, but I believe I recall seeing some posts from as early as 2000 or 2001, possibly even late last century! :woot:

Time marches on! Therefore, we must all ... ... (let me hear you all say it!) ... ...

... ... ...

... ... That's right!

So what yer sayin' is we need a less than 15 pound, battery powered backpack Rumble with at least a strong 8" speaker so we can march and Rumble at the same time.

You are correct @G-Dog . I must have been reading threads on the Rumble that were before the Rumble Club was established. The Rumble line came out in 2003.
As far as the history of TB I found this:
TalkBass.com: Bass Guitar and Double Bass News, Info, Discussion,
Some people reference a 1998 start date but that first year apparently wasn’t archived

So tommorr night,, my Rumble 500 Head and 1 of my 210 VIII cabs make the triumphant return to the stage with me as we play the Sing Out Loud festival for St. Augustine, Florida . This will be the first gig with the new speakers. They have sounded great in rehearsal.

I've played it every year since it started. This year we play the Lincolnville Porchfest showcase at Dog Rose Brewery. Excited to have my Rumble with me this go vs. The Bassman and 410 cab.
