Are you certain it’s the amp?
Just trying to rule out some easy first things to check, like trying a different instrument cable, check output jack on bass and also a new battery if bass is active.
Seems like 99% of issues I’ve had were cable related.

Good point, Daxxy. But, please allow me to correct a grievous oversight here. @B Dax, you are now member #1437 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. I know from your years of participation here that you already know about your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge. Oh gosh, now you’ve gone and done it. And I didn’t even post a picture yet.

I haven’t minded reading these posts from the outer rim territories and chiming in occasionally.

As far as membership is concerned, I’m reminded of something that was said by someone who was much smarter than me (and a whole lot funnier) along the lines of “not sure I’d want to belong to any club that would have me as a member”, but I’ll humbly accept and keep an eye out for my tie tack and decoder ring to arrive in the mail.

G-Dog, you’re doing a great job of keeping this Rumble Club active and on the path. I’m amazed at how fast the numbers have jumped in this club. It doesn’t seem like long ago that member numbers were still three digits.

I also enjoy reading of other’s experiences with these great Fender amps so keep up the posts and….

I've been lusting after that "woodgrain" model but turns out that was a Sweetwater exclusive and not offered any more. Haven't caught one on eBay yet. Seems hard to find.

Did a gig tonight at a KofC we've done b4. Took the R100 based on experience in the room. They had us in a smaller room. R40 woulda been enuff. Restaurant lounge Saturday night, definitely R40.

Nah. I have the B25, which would be enuff for tonight, but it's ~twice as heavy and load in/out is a PITA at this place. The band area is very close to where we park. The door isn't.

The KofC next door to our house in Augusta used to throw a youth party every few months. For a while, it was always a dance with Dixie Grit playing. That was the HS band Andy West (bass) and Steve Morse (guitar) founded. Killer musicians, even then. No Rumbles existed yet.

Gratifying - but the 15 is the runt of the litter, and quite frankly it’s a little limited, IMHO. The Rumble 25 is a much better option, and the Rumble series proper starts at the 40, as far as I’m concerned. No offense intended to those who own one (I do myself, as a matter of fact).

We're kinda regulars at this KofC. The guy who books acts likes us-and so does the crowd. We lost ~5 gigs there last year due to (you know).

Definitely not 'teen' dances(they'd be better off w/ a DJ). Crowd tends to be mid 40s +.

Agreed. I don't understand why they threw the r15 in there instead of the 25. I have a v2 R15 and v3 R25. They both have their uses. the 15 is currently my kid's amp. If he is still picking up his bass come birthday time I will get him an R100.
