Fender Rumble Club

Agreed. I don't understand why they threw the r15 in there instead of the 25. I have a v2 R15 and v3 R25. They both have their uses. the 15 is currently my kid's amp. If he is still picking up his bass come birthday time I will get him an R100.
My R15 is at my drummer’s house, for when we have practice sessions with her electronic drum set. It works for that and bedroom practice, but that’s about it. I have modded it with acoustic wadding, so it sounds a little better than it would have done stock.

Well, the Rumble came in 2nd in Invalid Link Removed. Not sure why the author gave top billing to another old name who only recently copied the Rumble's lightweight/high-value form factor, though at 10% higher cost, 17% more weight and 29% more bulk size. Oh, yeah, they had an older, heavier version of that "Rocket", that's why. And they obviously didn't really examine them, either, since they think they have external speaker jacks! :rollno:

I wouldn’t get too het up about it. :) At this level, it’s as much about personal taste as anything else, and the reviewer says clearly that the previous incarnation of the Rocket bass amps was his all-time favourite.

And let’s face it, Ampeg has taken a big step up since Yamaha took over, and the Rocket combos are good. So if the reviewer likes them better than Rumbles, I don’t have a problem with that. They’re both great, and a little competition keeps everyone on their toes anyway.

I didn’t see anywhere where the review claims that the Rocket Bass RB-112 has an external speaker jack, though.

Recently purchased a new Fender Rumble 100 about 3 weeks ago and last night I noticed for the first time a severe rattle from the cabinet while plucking on the A string, open note. Havent dropped the combo nor moved it out of position since I brought it home. Played through this combo dozens of times prior and never noticed before. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

The first thing to do is to make sure the rattling actually comes from the cabinet, and not something in the immediate vicinity. The simplest way to do this is to move the amp to another location, and see if you can recreate it. If you still get a rattle, remove the grille, and check that all the screws holding the driver in place are tight. If the rattle persists, its time for a visit to your dealer or Fender Authorised Service Center. You’re well within the warranty period, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Fairly certain noise is from the cab... played it today and the rattle is gone. Weird huh? Can is be an intermittent condition? All EQ levels close the flat. Only difference is that I used the G & L Tribute SB-2 and last night was the Aerodyne. Most of my gear is packed away in another room upstairs for a few weeks or so bc my basement developed a water leak and having a french drain and sump pumping being installed along with new drywall and tile flooring. Losing my jam space sucks and now this.

I hear about everything else in the room rattling, including the windows. Just not the Rumble 100.

Did you play at the same volume?

The Rumble 100 has a frequency peak around 110 Hz, which makes A notes a little louder, so if you are playing loud it is possible that an A note could cause a vibration somewhere that you don't hear on other notes.
Good info I did not know that.
My settings pic below. Volume knob at 8 o'clock. Amp is so powerful I never need to move more than a click above off at home practicing alone
