Great Idea, DerekW!Maybe one of those kitchen drawer liners you buy to keep your utensil trays from sliding around the drawers?

Have any of you used your Rumbles with other instruments? We recently bought an electric cello and I'm assuming it could be played with this amp, but we haven't tried it yet. If anybody knows anything about how well these two pieces play together please let me know!
Thank you for the continued interest!![]()

Wow, I have not had the master above 10 o'clock yet and I am shaking places (Avatar B212 with Neos). I put the gain really high but i can only imagine how loud you must have been at noon for the master.Alright so, I received the 500 head last Wednesday and was only able to test it out via the headphone jack since my cabs spend most of their time at the practice space. Normally, I play through a QSC RMX 2450 with a Sansamp Paradriver DI which sounds great to my ears, but it is a backbreaking endeavor every time we have to load out for shows. This is the reason I got the 500 head. Before loading out for the show this past Saturday I gave it a quick 3 minute whirl through my modified, tweeterless Avatar B212 just to see if everything functions as it should. This beefy little bastard surpassed all of my expectations. It was super loud with a voicing that is a lot bassier than I expected. I actually had to roll off the bass to 10 o'clock.
We took the stage at midnight (what the heck? Thanks Mr. Vocalist.) I flipped the amp on and cranked the master to noon. I didn't need to go any higher than that for our 4 piece punk band. The bass shook the whole bar. The best way I could describe it was vintage. I had everything set to flat except for the bass rolled off a little. I really loved how punchy the staccato notes sounded. I can't wait to experiment with the different sound possibilities next practice.
Edit: The carrying case/satchel is awesome!

But it has 2 things against it: 1) the Rumble name. Like it or not, that name is associated with low end products, and there will always be a stigma associated with it. B) It looks cheap. While the case may be practical and cost-effective, it looks like a Radio Shack case. If they could sex it up, the way Genz did with the Streamliner, it would go a long way toward improved sales. But keep it small; that Bassman 500 is way too big. People listen with their eyes, don't forget.
You most certainly may, sigmafloyd!Hey all. I just picked up a Rumble 500 combo. Really liking it so far. Can I get a number?

No, I have the Black Tolex covering.I have 2 eminence 4012ho in mine. They require a little more juice to get pumping.
Does your cab have rat fur?

Yeah, you should just cut what you need and place it between the the amp and cab, and that should do it.So was that enough alone to stop the walk off the amp for you or do you use additional ways to anchor it down?
You could end up with a fat tattooed biker chick sitting on your ampPut a pitcher of beer on top to weigh it down.
What's the worst that could happen?
