Fender Rumble Club

Much worse.
Say what you will about tattooed biker chicks but, generally, their loyalty is not in question.

Still lovin' my Rumble 40 practice amp.

Thinking about trading my upgraded (Eminence) v2 Rumble 350 in for a v3 Rumble 500.

I'm going back and forth between head only + 2x10 cabinet or the combo. I like the idea of building a configurable arsenal around the Rumble 500 head with possibilities of a single 2x10 cab, stacked 2x10 cabs, single 1x15 cab, stacked 1x15 cabs, stacked 2x10 + 1x15.

I have a single gripe about the Rumble v3 combos: the controls are on the back. If you are sitting (in the studio or practicing) the knobs are not in the best place.

I would like to join this growing group of rumble fans, I just picked up one of the new Fender Rumble 500 heads, this week I will put it to the test at band rehearsal with a pair of GK 112ii neo's. pics to follow. Can I please get a number?

bass regards Cole
You most certainly can, Colesy! :woot: Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, you are member #410 :hyper: Your GK 112 neos have very similar Eminence Neos to my Rumble 112's, and YES, they rock like hell.

 Rumble On!

I don't think Fender is hurting for Rumble sales. I think the name actually helps in that dept since it reinforces price point. I kind of see what you're saying about RadioShack project box looks, but that general phenomenon is common in bass heads, and the Rumbles actually look better than most any of those (the Genz Benz Shuttle looks like a piece of lab equipment).
Markbass rivals the rumble in terms of utilitarian looks, but the GB streamliners and GK MB series are really nice. Even the yet to be seen in the wil Peavey miniMega and Bugera Veyron look good.
I've a thing about industrial design, seems like a good opportunity to beautify what are really just boxes.

Point taken about the Rumble prices, still, IMO the pro-level Bassman stuff is too expensive. and the V3 rumbles are kind of too good to be Rumbles... :-)

I just picked up a Rumble 200 and want to join the rumble club! Thanks for directing / inviting me here Linnin!

Guitar player for a long time. I purchased an American jazz bass a few years ago for recording purposes. I never had a dedicated bass amp. I spent some time yesterday playing numerous combo amps at a local music store and decided to go with the Fender Rumble 200. I wanted something that sounds good, under $500. and with an XLR out. The real reason for purchasing the amp.... it just sounded good to this guitar players ear. Also, I honestly can't believe how deceivingly lightweight this amp is. It is actually a minor concern of mine. Anyway.... just wanted to say hello. Matt

I am considering buying a Rumble 500 amp head. I plan to run it with a 4-10 cabinet that I already own until I have enough money for new lighter cabinets. I am thinking of either two 1-12 cabs or two 2-10 cabs. Has anyone used the 1-12 cabinets yet, as they are new? I know some of you have the 2-10 cabs, any thoughts? Thanks for your help.
