I'd love to join the Rumble club and get a number, thanks.

Just picked up the cab, can't wait to turn it all loose at the next gig!

Thanks!

I am back from GC without purchase anything :roflmao:
Have try 200 Combo with 210 cab & 112 cab ,all button off , horn off ,Gain 12 o'clock & flat EQ setting. Test with my own CV 60 Pbass.
With 120 cab, it sound more meaty & "Ommph" than 210 cab.

Even though 200 combo + 120 cab sound nice, the sound from Rumble 500 head + 2 x 112 display set are more shining. I have to hold myself, 200 combo is ENOUGH.....is ENOUGH....ENOUGH.:banghead:

A few weeks ago, in a fit of cleaning, my wife told me to consolidate all of the little combo amps that I have collected over the years (I believe I heard the words "I don't care how" in there). So, I traded them (with a little cash) for a Rumble 200 combo. Loving it so far...

Can I get a number?
But of course you can, sequel91! Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club :woot: You are member #415 :hyper:
Smart woman, that wife of yours. ;) You're a most fortunate man. Great intelligence must run in your family as you were quite astute in your choice of a Fender Rumble 200.

:D Rumbles Rule! :D

Anybody find that their Rumble suddenly sounds boomy (without changing settings) after a bunch of gigs? I played it last night and it sounded awful. I hope it was the room or something.
You're a pretty hip musician, Fletz, and you know you always have to EQ for the room & volume level. Never hesitate to go into subtractive settings.

Also if you're set up on a stage or riser, you need to decouple your amp from the floor. That hollow area underneath acts like cavernous boom megaphone, and is disastrous to good solid bass tone. Always decouple from the floor. Auralex GRAMMA's are magic and work wonders. Invalid Link Removed

I am using one of these inexpensive piano benches to raise up my 2x112 stack by 20". It makes it easier for everyone to hear plus it decouples from the floor and tightens the bottom end right up while eliminating any stage boom.

I've had a handful of gigs so far, and it definitely varies by room. I have a DIY version of the auralex, and it makes a huge difference even on solid floors. At least get some sort of wedge that will let you point the amp up a little. I did that in a couple of rooms recently and it took care of the boom.

Also, for anyone interested in the 210 cabs, I recently picked up an Orange terror bass head and played a gig last weekend through a pair of rumble 210s. It was a great pairing, and I got a few compliments on the sound and the look. The 210 stack is working really well for me. Perfect sized footprint with a "bigger" cab presence.

Hi all, I think I'd like to ask Linnin for a number to join the club. I was one of the first to start praising my Rumble 350 head on a thread back in 2011 (Fender rumble 350 head serious or joke). I've been enjoying and gigging with it for several years now and lurking on this club thread for a while. I have to admit I have had some problems with it. It's been in the repair shop twice due to it cutting out and leaving me scrambling during gigs to hook up a backup amp.
The first time they replaced a main board and the second time I think it was an op amp? The thing is I've grown so attached to it's sound that I purchased another one to use as a back up or both together. I got one of the last remaining new in box with full warranty from ebay. I had checked out the V3 500 heads but found I prefer the semi para mid on the V2. I have my sound dialed in and not sure if I could find it with the current hi and lo mid controls. One thing I did learn from this thread. Even though I don't think it's been the cause of my problems, I've started using a compressor that shows unity gain output going to the input of my Rumble heads. I had been running a bit of a hot signal boosted from my sans amp. This way I can be sure I'm not doing any harm to the amp and it's set to have very little affect on my overall sound. By the way I have a variety of old school cabs, but have been gassing over these light V3's

That's quite a story there, toneseeker! Yes, of course you can join our rockin' Rumble Club :woot: Welcome, friend, you are member #416 :hyper:
I happen to also love my V2 Rumble 350 head. It's incredibly clean & powerful. Plus it allows me dial in the perfect mid-range punch to suit my Rumble 112 cabs. What's not to love? Right?

:cool:Rumble On!

Just noticed that the 115 cab is rated for 300 watts, and the 112 for 500watts.

Interesting. Wonder what the overall volume difference is at the same setting. I assume the 115 would "seem" louder as it moves more air.
Anyone A/B them?
No. The new V3 Rumble 112 is rated for 250 watts continuous, and 500 watts program. Think of 'continuous' as what your amp can put out cleanly all the time, and 'program' as peak wattage output. The 115 is 300 watts continuous and 600 program. A pair of either cabinet will handle the Rumble 500 head. A pair of 115's move more air and will have marginally more SPL. A pair of 112's are lighter and have a smaller footprint. A/B them and take your pick as they are the same price.
