Okay, I can't claim membership yet because I'm on the fence about what to do, so I'm asking for some advice here.
I have an Acoustic B200 combo and a 210 neo cab that suit me very well volume and tone wise, but even the combo alone is a bit heavy, nearly twice the weight of the Fender 500w 210 V3 combo.
From what I've read here, the Fender wouldn't have any trouble replacing the Acoustic combo, so I'm all for that, but I wonder if I shouldn't get the Fender 500w head instead and use it with my Acoustic neo 210, which would allow me to keep the Acoustic combo as a backup.
What brings me to a crossroad is, I'm also thinking about trading the Acoustic combo for the Fender combo and using the neo 210 cab as an extension if needed.
Can anyone recommend a solution?
Yes, it is different and better. You really should go and audition a V3 Rumble 100; 200, & 500.Does the overdrive on the V3 Rumble amps sound any different or better than the V2 amp? I have a Rumble 75 (V2) and while I like the overdrive it lacks a certain smoothness, for lack of a better word. It kind of mimics the sound of a blown speaker.

Fender Rumble Overdrive
Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, TheBluePhoenix!I'm planning to. The Guitar Center by my house does not have them on the floor to play. I'll have to check another location and maybe go across town and see if Sam Ash has them. Thanks!

Groovy! I also like metal grills as they provide actual protection, and I like seeing the speakers. You'd have to give Fender a call as far the warranty goes.So I stopped by the Guitar Center near my office and they did have the new Rumbles in the bass room. The biggest one they had was the 100. I played around with it for a bit and I did like it. The overdrive did sound great and the bright, contour, and vintage options seemed pretty cool. If I were to get one I would definitely get the 500. It’s not much more than the 200 and why the hell not? Why not get the biggest beast that the make? It’s always good to have lots of headroom. I also love how the new Rumbles are pretty small because any amp I buy must easily fit in the trunk.
I’m just not crazy about the cloth gill in the front. Has anyone replaced it with a metal grill like the previous Rumbles had? I don’t think that would be a major mod but would it be worth it? Would that void the warranty?

That’s a good idea! That should be simpler and easier than cutting a metal grill to size and attaching it to the cabinet.just put single grilles on the Speakers underneath the Cloth and Keep the Cloth for the Looks?
Thanks for the tip. Called them a few days ago and today I got new name plate in the mail, along with a bunch of picks. Nice customer service experience.Oh-Oh! Just call Fender Consumer Relations Telephone: (480) 596-7195 and they'll take care of you.![]()
