Got a question tho....where can I find a detailed description of what all my options are i.e. amp models, and FX choices?

The bass, pedalboard, and cables (except the cable between the Rumbles) are what I've been using, and had worked just fine with the old amp the night before the new amp arrived. First night practicing with both amps went great. The second night practicing with both amps, after 30-45 minutes, they started making popping and squeaking noises. I jiggled the cables(esp. send/return) to no avail. I pulled the cable from the new R100's send, and things quieted down (sic). Today I tried a different cable between the amps with the same results.
Tonight I'll swap the amps and try again. Meanwhile, if anyone's run across this before, what was it in your case?

Such noises "sound" like interference with the cut-off switch in the FX Return of the new R100, IMHO. I wouldn't expect corrosion, in this case, but maybe an extraneous bit of "sumpin'"? Try running a plug in-&-out of the Return several times.

Congrats @4string loud on the Stage 800! Excellent amp indeed and I am loving mine as well. As @G-Dog said, come on over to the sub thread and we'll discuss to your hearts content as it's a very polarizing amp in the Fender product line.

Yeah, I jiggled them but didn't run them in and out. I'll try that if it recurs. Also another cable and bass, and pull the board out, just to isolate things.

We could. Almost no call for anything of that ilk. We play to/for our 55+ y/o audience. They wanna hear 60s-70s rock and some country.

That's crazy, you have GREAT tone every time I've heard your band, your complainer shouldn't get a say in YOUR tone.

They'll play almost anything the crowd asks for! We should all show up and call out really obscure stuff from other genres. Other continents. Other planets. Etc. GP will know 99% of what we call out, and his Thunderbird will know 99% of the 1% he doesn't. So stump the bass[ist] will be work!

We do know a lot of [stuff]. Both guitarists-and the drummer-come from jazz-y backgrounds, and I've done a little bit of dang near everything.

Since my 800c arrived last Saturday I’ve done six gigs with it and am very happy. Active and passive Basses, acoustic trio, electric trio and four 5 piece band gigs. No issues at all.

I like the extra clarity this model brings. Yesterday I tried the Double Rumble stack at an outdoor gig. The 500c feeding the 800c via send/return. Holy cow what a beast of a rig! That configuration really sounds great, and definitely works for me tonally with more than enough power.

+1 on the clarity. I recently downsized from a Glockenklang stack and was really taken by the clean sound, low noise floor and whisper quiet fan of my 800c.

Does anyone have a pic and/or tech specs (like the internal code) of the Eminence neo speaker mounted on this new rumble 800 combo?
I'd like to know the speaker specs and, probably in the future, buy a 2x10" cab and replace the ceramic speakers with the neo ones

I think you might be out of luck on this one. These speakers are made by Eminence to Fender's own specifications, which they are notoriously tight-lipped about. The drivers themselves are only available to Fender Authorized Service Centers, and not to the general public. Your best bet might be to wait until Fender releases a neo version of the Rumble 210 extension cab.

I do predict the future V4 rumble line will fully has OEM neo driver inside. Neo magnet are fairly cheap and common in this current day . Continue the super lightweight benchmarks on Rumble line .

Since you own the 800c, why not take out the neo driver from your 800c ? Later share the speaker internal code here , full fill the Talkbass sharing spirit and without time wasting at all.
