Fender Rumble Club

If you are, unfortunately, as anal as I am, you'd have them marked #1 and #2, and rotate them for each gig, so each amp section gets 50% of the love/work. But that's just me. And I'm kind of out of my mind.
I hadn’t thought of rotating them but have named them Thing 1 and Thing 2. I plan to get that stenciled or painted on them at some point.

Yeah, I recently shopped at a Guitar Center for a guitar strap with laces on both ends. Not only were there NO leather laces, but I couldn't even find a strap I wanted with the shoestring laces on both ends! But I found something like this strap with one lace, then asked the checkout guy if they had any with two laces (to fit this lunch box for my 4-year-old grandson's birthday). He just went to the rack and grabbed a similar lace from some random strap and handed it to me! Ok. I'll take it. :)

Yeah--nto even the shoelace normally--the last strap I got was in the case of a sued guitar--and it had the shoe lace

Maybe if I got a mini amp I could use that?

In any case I only do it with bass maps--nto guitar amps (Yeah I'm one of those who play both)

I so wish you hadn't shared that with my OCD self...
But wouldn't they both be getting the same level of amp work? Only the preamp section is used on the primary...
Picky, picky, picky. So anal. I love it. :roflmao:

And really, it's more than just the PREamps. It's the pots and switches and jacks (input, send, return).

Here are the settings I used last night vintage button on, Played a P Bass with flats...The combo sounds great on its own but adding the 115" ext cab made this thing come alive, not just for volume, which it does but the overall sound

I use almost those identical settings.

Well, I got my Rumble 500 in January and I guess I'm a member now? Can I get a #?

Howdy, BBB! @bill81255, you are now member #1632 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Please put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

Say, man, my local Dollar store sold me a piece of junk that broke and they won't give me a refund! o_O Can you revoke their business license for me? ... ... no? ... oh, well. ...

Hey bill, how's about telling us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular? You'll fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...

Rumble On!

Been playing bass for 55 years! (Wish it showed!) First and best love! Lots of gear over the years, but loving all the awesome options for bassists these days!

Had my beloved Genz Benz Shuttle die on NYE 2022! Had a backup Shuttle but wanted something robust and powerful to have as a go-to. Ordered the Rumble 500 and had it in time for the next gig! Performs admirably! Rocked it HARD last night!

Rumbling with a Lakland 44-01 and Fender MIM Standard Precision. Just using the 200 combo lately without the 115ext cab hooked up for home practice, it's pretty darn loud in a smaller room

Hi there all,

This is not a rumble-related query but it's close so maybe you guys might know the answer... (!!)

I recently bought a second hand Fender Bronco 40 as a bedroom practice amp. I got it damn cheap and I'm pretty pleased with it so far, as you can experiment with the Fuse Software and mess around with the tones and effects.

I'm aware that the Fuse Software is no longer supported by Fender but I was wondering if anyone knew of any archive of Fuse fx and presets anywhere out there that I could download from (especially bass-related stuff)? Or maybe there's another, newer piece of software out there somewhere that's compatible with the amp?

Welcome, again, Bar Band Bassman bill. That's a fine introduction, young man. Glad to have ya!

I don't know if you've noticed, but we dearly love to see photos, if at all possible. It's not required, just encouraged. :smug:
