I'm strongly considering selling the 2x10 as I don't use it and have very limited space. I got it when we had a mountain cabin on 3 acres. Boom!!
Feel free to contact me if you decide to sell and have a good box to ship it in. I missed out on a deal for one locally a month or so ago. Maybe we can come to an agreement that works for both of us.

If the cab is 8ohms, it should be safe.

I have the 800v3 as well.
I use the 100 watt switch on all indoor venues. Outdoors I use full power. All our outdoor gigs have PA support, so an extension cab would be overkill.
That doesn't stop me from wanting one though

This is absolutely false. I've mixed 10s and 15s for years. It is a great sound.

.The only issue is when you run more than 300w into a cab that is rated at 300w. That should be common sense, wouldn't you think?
People have been mixing speaker sizes in instrument amp setups and PAs forever. Any phase difference is going to be very minor unless one of the speakers is horribly under- or over-damped compared to the other - which isn't really a size issue. Efficiency differences matter more than size differences.
The only way to know is to try it. And know that how it sounds at a music store vs your home vs any given venue (never mind outdoors) can vary from a little to a lot - but that's true even without extra cabs.
The way I understand it is overall it's hit and miss mixing various old cabinets. I believe that. Fender Rumbles on the other hand have been designed to play well together.
I believe this ^^^^ is the answer. Although I've seen all kinds of speaker size mixes, in my many decades, I've never actually heard any problems with them. I have always heard that there can be problems, though.
Fender Rumbles, however, and the current Bassman cabs, are specifically designed to all play very well with each other. My Rumble 500 w/210s & Bassman Neo 115 confirms this.

Was my rig all through the 70's. A 6x10 SUNN cabinet with a 2x15 SUNN cab.
I could say maybe. One of my favorite rigs was a Harke 1x15 aluminum cone and an SWR Working Man 2x10 I drove with an Ampeg B2R.
Someone would have to give me some technical documentation on why mixing speaker sizes or specific cabs doesn't work.
This adversity to mixing speaker sized, to me, is like don't go in the forest, Raw Head and Bloody Bones lives there and he will get you if you go into the forest.

Actually good, when I want it to be. I only had a 150w solid state head and the 10's were guitar speakers. Certainly not SVT DB levels by any stretch.How's your hearing?

My rig through the 70s & 80s was a fender bassman 2x12 Amp and a acoustic 2x15 with a univox head. Thank you fender for coming out with the rumble series.
Was enough for me. Certainly lacked tone using an EB-0. I did manage to transport all of it in my VW Beetle with the back seat removed.
