Fender Rumble Club

Ok....count me in! Got my Rumble 500 head today. I was going to get the 210 Combo, but I decided I could add the Rumble 210 (or 112) cabs later if I choose. Sounds great through the LDS 215!

Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, Thundar! :woot: You are member #431 :hyper:
:D Rumbles Rule! :D

So how many have tried the 2x112 stack? :D I'm heavily considering it for my Aguilar TH500. I love the amp so much but I feel like I don't like the Aguilar SL112 cabs I have with them. I feel like part of their problem is their diminutive size and think that maybe the slightly larger Fender Rumble 112s would help it not sound congested, because as loud and punchy and efficient the SL112 cabs are, to me, they sound like they've got a cold or something. It might be that the Eminence Neo (probably Deltalite II 2512) is too much speaker for that cab.

I feel like Rumble cabs I've tried have very even tone and they're so frickin' cheap, too, plus they look great, but I haven't tried the 1x12". More importantly, I was just wondering how many have tried the 2x112 stack and what they think of it.

While I have an Aguilar rig for my personal enjoyment, I still use my Rumble 500 combo for gigs. Our rhythm guitar amp is a Vox Night Train combo. It sits perfectly on top of the Rumble 500, which is kind of amazing because then we get plenty of stage left and we also get the benefit of an elevated guitar amp so you can hear it better.

So... the only time I'd break out the Aguilar head would be when I'm using the full 2x112 stack, I'd never just use one cab with it (I have the Rumble 500 for that). I know the Rumble 112 cab is not much bigger than the Aguilar SL112 but I feel like with tiny cabs, even tiny changes can have dramatic effects. For instance, my first generation Night Train guitar cabinet kind of sounded crappy, but the second generation increased the depth by 1.5" (same height and width) and now, it sounds like a real amp.

I don't know of anyone that has a pair of the new V3 Rumble 112 cabinets. That plaid guy just got one to put under his Rumble 500 combo, after trying a Rumble 115, and also a Rumble 210. Says he likes it, but haven't heard more from him that I recall. I think a pair of 112's would be just ducky with either a Rumble 200 or 500 head.

Haven't been here for a while. I finally bought a Rumble 40 for playing at home and with in acoustic sessions. I already have Rumble 500H with 115 and 410. Bought Rumble 100 a year ago, but didn't like the sound of 12 inch speaker.

But this Rumble 40 is just great! The same sound when recording as in 500H and very nice sound to play quietly. Even better to play at home as there is no fan inside, it's completely silent. Me happy!

I very rarely use any effects (live) other than OD and comp, but I do have Zoom MS-100BT to play with when I'm in the mood. Will spend some quality time with my new R40 tonight. Will drink a bottle of nice wine and try some modulation effects and delays with extremely long feedback times :)

I remember drinking a lot of Blue Nun, and Zeller Schwarze Katz when I was stationed in Wiesbaden.

I'll be drinking some Fat Tire Amber Ale tonight while I get more familiar with the 500 combo. So far I'm liking it better without the Acoustic 210 neo, which seems to be voiced a bit deeper than the Fender, but I won't know for sure until I hear it with the band next week.

I may have to do some more horse trading and get a Rumble 210 cab.

As long as they match volume wise and complement each other tone wise that is what is important.
