Fender Rumble Club

Keyboard...not one of these:

The Rumble--it's just my type of amp!

I am not but, then again, I am not surprised at the lack of great deals on those unhappy people selling their hated Rumble 100s at great discounts. I believe we can all read between the lines.
Well, they used to say that if you want to know the best cars, go see what is NOT at the used lot.

One could also categorize that recent post as "click bait". It is also notable that the OP of that thread did not respond to all the requests of what he was using or didn't use. Maybe he will accept my offer to take his R100 of his hands but, I am not holding my breathe.

Heck, I am willing to pay some or all of the shipping, depending upon where his is, provided he actually has one and it is not broken.

I committed a (in my mind) lesser offense and was accused of trolling by a mod. It’s easy to stir the poo by degrading any widely popular thing.

Unfortunately, threads like that do not qualify what lesser cost products are designed for and suggest they are not good for anything. They are suggesting $300 products should compete with $3K products...completely ludicrous.

I just read the whole thread. I wouldn't count on OP posting here. He clearly doesn't like the Rumble sound. Hopefully he finds an amp he likes better and one of you buys it off of him for a good price - win/win

Now, does anyone here hate their R500c? I could maybe take it off your hands...

I am waiting for someone who hates his full Mesa rig and wants to give it to me, shipping included.

I'm surprised at the popularity of the "I hate the rumble 100" thread currently going on.
In my time here on TB, I’ve seen this sentiment a lot. Those voices have been quiet for a while, as it has become increasingly clear that the Rumble is an excellent budget option. But as soon as someone starts a thread like this, all the haters come out of the woodwork.

However, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there are many who don’t care for the Rumble tone. That’s fine, and there are plenty of other options out there for them. That doesn’t change the fact that the Rumble line is still the most popular line of bass amps out there, and does a great job for a great many players all over the world.

I do but I’m selling it today lol. I do think it’s a good amp just not a good amp for me. I’m
Mainly a punk player but still pretty particular about tone and just couldn’t get on with this like say my Ampeg rb108. For me it comes down to the baked in tone and just not a fan of the rumbles

Well stated. Part of the reason why I got a Stage 800. I like the Rumble tone for some of what I play, but wanted the versatility the Stage provides. I can get close enough to that Ampeg tone, or so many other amps through the modeling capabilities. Love my Rumbles!
