Fender Rumble Club

Kia ora! Yes, I too have been quite astounded at the volume my Rumble Studio 40 can get in some pretty large musical groups. And I haven't even had to use the XLR Out! Personally, I like that my amp settings get sent to the PA from my Rumbles' DIs.

By the way, Marty, how's your Rumble 500 head with the two Barefaced One10 cabs been doing? Last time we "saw" you here, about 5 years ago, that was your gig rig, Rumbler #1133.
.
Ka Pai G-Dog! Nice to see a Kia Ora on these pages!!

Just up loading a current Rumble 500c family photo.

Yamaha BBP34 & Epihpone Thunderbird Vintage Pro.

The Thunderbird is on the market. Can only keep one bass ATM. Maybe more in the future - who knows! :)
Reminds me how badly I WANT a BB, but definately don't NEED any -.-'

Recently bought a Rumble 40 to go with my first bass, one that I just finished building this weekend. Yes, I built a bass without owning one, or having spent more than about 30 minutes total playing one over about 30 years. Applying for Rumbel Club membership! I have been a casual guitar player of mediocre ability, but love tinkering. Built a strat kit guitar 5 years go, and that got me playing again after about a 10 year break. The bass used pre-made unfinished paddle head neck with veneer added, body from a tree I had taken down. I am liking the Rumble so far, even as a guitar amp.

Welcome in the longneck club! :) Love the lightning+brass looks!

Yeah, we will start our outdoor gigs soon. The cab/amp is a lot heavier! Not sure what to do.
When I bought a Rumble 200 v3 combo on release, I was amazed at how light it was compared to my current Ampeg combo and my first amp, a '64 Bassman (whose head and cab I had to fit into my '64 VW gigmobile, along with my Jazz bass and Farfisa Mini). I had to sell my 200 and 40 when I moved to 230VAC land. I immediately bought a Studio 40, but was dithering on which larger combo to buy. Before I decided, I found the GR Bass carbon fiber combos and cabs made in Italy. If weight is more important than money (they're not cheap), give them a look. My 500 combo (250 watts into its custom 12" speaker) weighs only 17.2 lbs. My 112 350 watt cab for it weighs only 13.4 lbs). The 350 combo that pumps all of its 350 watts into a single custom 12" speaker (doesn't support an external cab) weighs only 15.9 lbs. Superior, super clean tone. If I want it to sound like an Ampeg 8x10 fridge, for example, I just plug my Studio 40's FX Send into the FX Return on the 500 combo.

Cool! What type of wood is the body? (Off-topic in an amp thread, I know..).

Great looking bass! The lightning look really is neat. My CoVid project was a single cutaway (LP shape) JazzBass w/ Bartolini split coils, fretless JB neck from Warmoth, black Gotoh tuners and bridge.

My Rumble 100 works fine as a keyboard amp or small PA amp. Impressive.

And I love how the bass looks!
