Perfect location for a bass player. With Southwest 737s coming and going every 30 seconds, ain't NOBODY gonna complain 'bout da bass.
When I lived in Chicago, I had a place in LPT (Lake Point Tower). Different story completely. The only way to rock out there was on a rocking chair.![]()

As it happens, aside from the aircraft (which we don't even notice anymore) loud noise is very much not a common thing in Garfield Ridge, especially after hours. Was one of the things that most attracted us to the neighborhood when we moved a couple years ago.
I'm sure that as ritzy as LPT is, you still had the apartment-dweller foibles of having to watch your noise. Not sharing any walls or floors, I can rock out pretty well in my basement without annoying anyone.
