Fender Rumble Club

Thanks, but I don't see how this is an issue. Does the stack seem unstable?

Maybe. The combo feet are raised slightly when on top of the 210 cab because the combo feet are perched on top of the 210 metal corner screw head. The combo feet are not flush with the 210 tolex. You'll have to move the combo feet to the same position as the 210 feet for maximum contact when stacking.

Thanks for explaining it further! I was just surprised because no one has ever mentioned it as an issue.

Oh man...same here with my kids. Minecraft or something Xbox-related. It would be 24/7 if we let 'em.
For awhile, we had a deal where every minute of playing guitar would earn him two minutes of video games. I forget how he jedi-mind-tricked me outta that one. Oh well, if he's anything like me, he'll only get by on his good looks until he's 25. After that, if he wants the ladies, he'll have to play bass.

Or earn massive $$$.

One of my nephews (he's a dad now) was telling me when his generation gets old and retired they'll all be vegged out on video games. Not a bad activity for the old folks' home, actually. They can all be playing some networked battle, complaining to each other via headsets...

I've got a 500 combo, getting ready to buy a 210 cab to go with it. Man, I'd love the Rumble 40 to have at home as a practice amp, but not sure if I can justify the $199, already having the combo. Believe it or not, I use an older Fender Frontman 25B as my practice amp, technology prior to the Rumbles! If someone wanted to buy that, maybe then I could justify the Rumble 40! :)

I had not thought about this that much, to stack safely do you need to do any more than just whack it in top of the matching cabinet?

I am also interested in the difference between stacking and separating perhaps a few metres or so apart, are there circumstances where people feel there are benefits in either set up?
