Fender Rumble Club

I am still amazed at the sound this little guy puts out. it's just a little bigger than my Rumble 30 and has half the weight. This amp is a back saver. I can know unload for a gig in one trip. I was always looking for help cause of the big bass rig. I will see how it hold up against the drums after rehearsal but I have a feeling it will be fine. I no longer have to leave an amp everywhere cause I can now carry the 100 wherever I go. I put a set of Chromes on my Jazz Bass and the amp is now warmer and has punch with the bright button down. This amp is getting better everyday day I have time to try different eq and button setting. Right now I back off the bass to 11 o'clock and a all others flat and the sound and tone are spot on. I cranked it up a bit for the 1st time and it get's loud yet still clear and crisp ( with the bright button ). This is a 5 star rig.

Starting to play with the overdrive, I set the Drive to 1:30 (towards the light), and then level to taste. Then adjust from there. With the right settings you can get Grand Funk fuzz.

Typically I like more of a subtle overdrive, and I think I'll be able to dial that in ...

Not to get off topic, but is that a KALA bass? I`ve really wanted to find out more about them.

Is that where you/you all practice at,Orangeclawwhamme? WOW! It looks like some part of a church bldg or a super-cool basement(yah, with windows :wacky: ) Cool!

That is a Gold Tone MicroBass. It is somewhat larger than a Kala u-bass. Threre is a mega-thread about these basses as well as seven, yes, seven mega-threads for the Kala u-basses. I tried to post the Gold Tone link, but it would not load. I got it from a TB member. Link Removed

This is a link to where this practice session took place http://www.trinityhousetheatre.org/ It was built in Livonia, MI in the 1850s and was called the Union Meeting Hall. It was used for any pubic meetings, including church services. We use it for concerts, mainly acoustic folk/Americana music. I do not currently have pics of the cemetery that surrounds it, but suffice it to say that we have a place for any acts that die. I only used it yesterday because I wanted to hear what my amp would do in a space that size. It is closer to the size of any coffee house where I'd use it than my basement does. It a fantastic place to hear music. Artists and audience members love it. http://www.trinityhousetheatre.org/[/QUOTE]
