Fender Rumble Club

I'm thinking about getting a Silver Fender Grill Cloth put on it like the new Rumbles, any thoughts?
I happen to like the modern industrial look of the black metal grill. I have a pair of the V2 112 neos in the same cabinet as your 208. The metal will rattle some times, and I had to put some thick rubber tape on the baffle board and black electrical tape on the edges of the grill. No more rattles even at very high volume levels.

The good thing about grill cloth is it doesn't rattle and can quickly be removed without tools. Plus it has that classic silverfaced Fender look. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I do appreciate the Metal Grill but I am a dedicated lover of Grill Cloth, hell my phone background is the Grill Cloth from my '63 B15! :D:laugh:

I have the 2x10 combo. Can't wait to add another cab and take full advantage of the 500 watts.
I have the 200 combo and I really want the cab to make it the full 200 watts. I was looking at the 1x12 today again, but I haven't actually heard of anyone trying it with the 200. Fender recommends it, but I'd rather get some positive feedback on the combination before I spend my money.

Understood. I haven't tried it myself. I took a chance on a rumble. My other amp is an old trace Elliot 1x12 combo from the early 90's at 120 watts. And it's still a great amp, but the new rumble sound is ridiculous. Plus weighs about half of my old trace Elliot. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of these new rumbles. Very nice. And the EQ on it is very versatile. Pair it with and active bass and you're golden.

Everyone needs a kitchen Rumble! I have a 25 in mine.

Actually the issue is the Rumble 500 combo is just scary loud, even at the lowest settings... Rumble is a VERY good name for this thing because that's what it does to my house! I almost feel like I am living in California!

I am doing a kitchen remodel for my wife's Christmas present, so my budget is blown, this sucks because I REALLY want a Rumble 40 or Rumble 100 for a lower volume practice, smaller gigging amp...

Yeppers! Been there/doing that. I repainted cabinets in the kitchen, both baths, and just now, spent my bonus on new appliances rather than get the (guitar) amp that I lust after. Keeping one's spouse happy is a wise thing.

Better than anything we have down here.
I'm certain you folk have good "craft" beer in Texas!
Heaven only knows it's everywhere else in the country.
There are so many outstanding offerings now. I can walk to two great local breweries and I'm not even in an area noted for them.
And it's not all IPAs (if you aren't into that hoppy trend -- I happen to be but that's neither here nor there); there are great pilsners, lagers, stouts, Belgians, etc. We are in the midst of a golden age of beer. Seriously.

Wouldn't the lower volume practice make her happy??

This is a compromise you make for her.

In fact, the 40 is actually a gift FOR HER!!

Not much of that in Texas. But, maybe 10 years in Portland where there is a craft brewery on every other block spoiled me. I haven't found much here to talk about in the DFW area.
I don't bother with mass produced U.S. beer. I have to agree with my northerly brothers that mass produced beer is almost as good as moose piss.
