Fender Rumble Club

I'm using a R500 v3 combo on top of a matching 2x10. Works beautifully.

Does that rig shake your fillings loose?

Thanks, I'm looking for another lightweight cab option and stacking a pair of these night just do the trick.
Oh, they will! There are many Rumble Club members with the 500 combo + Rumble 210 cab. Just go and audition a Rumble 500 combo. The Eminence woofers are identical as is the cabinet size and diagonal driver orientation. That way you'll know exactly how they'll sound.

The only issue is:

The R500 combo has a handle on the top, but not the sides.
The 2x10 cab has handles on the sides, but not on the top.

So if you're looking to make a single trip to the van and grab both of them at the same time, you're going to have to do a bit of a cantankerous cowboy wobble-walk if you encounter stairs. On the plus side, I can literally lift the 500 combo with one finger (no joke). It feels like it weighs 40 pounds.

Does the cab have the option of installing casters underneath?

And one more thing, are they ported?

They are ported out the front. I count two and measure about 3.75" diameter. Depth is 4.25"

The cabinet does not have metal receptacles for casters on the bottom. The four nubs are screwed in with wood screws (see pics).

Here's a couple pics of the cab. Note that the top has 4 screw-in depressions. I'm guessing that's to facilitate a head?

But of course you may! Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, Dad Dad Daddyo :woot: You are member #549 :hyper:
 Rumbles Rock!
Thank you Linnin!
But, um, didn't that number go to someone else, just a little up the page there? I mean, it's a nice number, and I can't believe somebody else wouldn't have wanted that number for themselves...
Just checking for sure, before I go adding it to my signature...
Anyway, more posts to come, and,
Thanks!

Quite Right Daddyo! Thanks for catching me. Actually @wordsmith4u is 548 and not 549. You are indeed 549. Sorry for the mix up.

Thanks! And no problem. You've handed out a lot of numbers, largely without incident. Before requesting to join I did a full thread read over the course of a number of evenings. Quite an impressive gathering of people and ideas!
5+4=9.... It's a good number...
And Scott Truesdell totally captured the reference! Yup, my handle was inspired by Marty's recovery under pressure! May we all be so graceful...
Thanks again, all, and I'll be around.
Best wishes!
