Fender Rumble Club

The 115 is indeed a great cab.

When I was looking to get more push under my 500, I did consider the 210, but after reading here on the Rumble Club, I went for the 115. It's a great match with the 500, gives a nice extra dynamic.

Been gigging my Rumble rig for a year in February, and I'm still stoked by how it sounds - and how lovely it looks!

So after not playing in 15 years I have picked up bass again. Currently using an old 20 watt crate amp but Im in desperate need for a Rumble 200. I would be forever grateful if anyone has a MF email 20% percent off coupon I could use if they are not going to use it. The holidaysavings coupon doesnt work but it seems the emailed one does. Looking to join the club!

Have you tried calling in the order?

My message just mentions coupon code "HOLIDAYSAVINGS", and here is the link:

Unfortunately, I do not see any Fender products listed. :(

Good luck,

Same with Guitar Center. You say, "I lost the coupon," or "I didn't receive a coupon," and the manager or whomever will apply the discount. There is 20% at Guitar Center until Thursday, Dec 17. I would not be surprised if they issued another discount coupon after the current one expires.

I didn't even realize the Rumble Club thread was out here. I have a Rumble 500 Head that I use with an Avatar B212 Cabinet with Neos and the Rumble is simply amazing. I was reminded of this last week when I was playing on an open mic night with the band I am in and I asked the house bass player if I could switch in my Rumble head instead of his (the speaker cab wattage was comparable). My goodness, the difference was incredible. I play a Ric 4003 primarily and infrequently a Jazz Bass and this Rumble head is amazing. The only thing I have found is I can't keep it on the Avatar cabinet as it vibrates right off. I have not yet rigged up anything to anchor it to the cabinet.

Good to hear , I have an Avatar 212 cab, just ordered the Rumble 500 yesterday .

They are ported out the front. I count two and measure about 3.75" diameter. Depth is 4.25"

The cabinet does not have metal receptacles for casters on the bottom. The four nubs are screwed in with wood screws (see pics).

Here's a couple pics of the cab. Note that the top has 4 screw-in depressions. I'm guessing that's to facilitate a head?

Thanks KamaK.

So it appears only Rumble 115 and 410 cabs which have the option of installing casters.

Sign me up! Got a new 500 and should probably have a club number to go with it. Thanks.

Also, made a great discovery the other evening, under the heading of Other Instruments Through a Bass Amp. On a whim, wondering about playing guitar and bass but only carrying ONE box, I plugged a 12-string semi-hollow into the Rumble 500 and cranked the treble. Holy Shite! Clear and articulate, rich and musical. Not surprisingly, maybe, it's a wide-range, hi-fi kind of sound that really flatters the 12-string. Not quite the full-bright voice I'm used to, but very, very close. And actually, the high-freq ringing overtones -- the special sauce of a 12 -- are quite prominent. (Let's hear it for horns!) Brilliant, literally and figuratively. A whole 'nother area to explore on this impressive amp.
