Fender Rumble Club

you use a Bose B2? tell us more!
I use a Bose L1 1s with a B2 sub. Have used it since they first came out. I can be set up in only a couple minutes and I absolutely love it. I run the T1 Tonematch mixer. Everyone can actually understand what I am singing. So many times I have been told that. Every once in a while someone will tell me that they never actually knew what the song was even about before. No monitors needed. I hear what they hear and my ears don't ring at the end of the night.

I've recently got a fender rumble v3 40 for christmas this year and it sounds pretty cool. I really dig the smooth warm sounds that this amp can provide. I especially like the overdrive channel. with the settings I use, I got myself a nice overdriven sound. kinda amp-like. not to mention that it's pretty loud for a 40-watt bass amp. this amp is staying in my arsenal. great amp for small gigs and house parties.

I thought you were saying you use a B2 for your bass... My band also uses the original B1 system. Coming from a loud rock background and having owned my own production company for awhile, I was leery of them at first. While they have limitations, using them has made me a believer. We use them as more or less a regular PA, one on each side of the stage but behind everyone so they double as monitors (they blow my ears out every once in awhile, they can get so loud), although I know they are supposed to be used individually for each player onstage. Whatever, they work really well. I'm not really a fan of the B2 subs, the whole system would work a lot better with a real 15" sub, but for what it is, it's a real breakthrough for portable band PAs.

Linnin does not work for FMIC. he only channels them telepathically. The has a Ouija board with a fender logo.
Yes, this is true. I am unemployed and in no way; shape, or form do I represent F.M.I.C. in any capacity. I do, however, enjoy a rapport with several Fender employees. If they have specific information they want want me to pass along they email me. Also if we (the Rumble Club) have questions, I can ask. There is excellent evidence of this in various 'Rumble Talks'. It's important not to strain the special relationship so the volume of requests needs to be kept low, and the questions need to be legitimate requests for operational information/tips/clarity.

OK then, when are they coming out with a Rumble 800? :-) (yes, I know I'm pushing it...)

I thought you were saying you use a B2 for your bass...

Here's a good Rumble story with a happy Rumble ending. Last week at the acoustic jam I co-host, I brought my Bose L1 Compact and played my Martin through it and my Precision. Martin+Bose=really nice! But.......... I won't bother to bring the Bose to the jam again. My bass tone was lacking quite a bit. I was so used to plugging the Precision into a Rumble.:) I won't show up without my Rumble again.

You do know this is not a "club" with doors closed off. It is a forum on the open to anyone internet, often with posts misquoted "out of context".
It can easily be mistaken as someone speaking for FMIC.

Cool Down, Man.

I don't mind either Mr Linnin is work for FMIC or Not, what i learn from this club is , he share and bring lot of good things, knowledge and happiness . He is The Soul of The Rumble Club.

Rule #9: Endorsed Artist / Remuneration Disclosure If you are an artist who endorses a music-related company, or if you receive remuneration (financially or in-kind) as the result of a relationship you have with a company, please disclose this via the "Disclosures" field in your profile. The text should be plain and clear, with no disclaimers, hype etc. For example: "Endorsing Artist: Joe Doe Basses" or "Affiliated with JD Amps" or "Discounted Gear: JD Amps", etc.

I think, perhaps, that you might be placing too much importance on the use of the word "we" in this connection. I believe Linnin has made it clear several times that he is not speaking for Fender, and that he has no affiliation with them. When he said "we" I certainly assumed that he was speaking about the experiences of the members of the community known as the Fender Rumble Club here on TB. I am, by the way, one of the few who has had a problem with my Rumble 100 like he described, and had it exchanged for a new one.

Okay! Rumble Club Bylaws 436-343:a23: "WE" to subsequently and notwithstanding to forthwith be defined as those friendly and helpful Rumble Club members who of their own freewill choose to participate in said club.:):):)
Thank you very much, @GregT. Also do not hesitate to report those interlopers whose sole intent is to cause trouble. I myself have a long ignore list for that very reason.
