Fender Rumble Club

It was during turning off though, if I remember correctly, so perhaps it indeed was a faulty or loose switch/contact and not the speaker. I did only very seldom run it at full power and not at the moment where it crapped out on me.
No way for me to tell, though. I'll be sure to keep the volume down in the future, though...

Sorry for the crappy picture. Got this rig yesterday. Rumble 500H and Rumble 115 v3 cab. Still in playing around mode with it right now but I can tel you this much...... what a great sounding lightweight rig. I'm happily surprised for sure. Glad I got the rig now cause I could see this new Rumble line getting a price increase in a year or so..... maybe I shouldn't have said that out loud, as I'm now planing a second 115 v3 cab..... ;) I'd love a number!
Great set up, I've got almost the same thing but with a P bass and a GK 700Rb driving the cab. Super deep low end with punch that almost was painful in my small practice room.

Gotta say after being an Ampeg guy forever this Rumble V3 100 is refreshing. Have an SVT 3 Pro and 2 410 classic cabs for gigs. This little baby is impressive. Thought long and hard about going 100 or 200. Played both, Happy with the 100. Tone is hot. More volume than I need for practice and perfect for acoustic gigs. Tacoma Thunderchief sounds great with EQ settings at noon and all switches off! Played at a small outdoor beach thing. 2 acoustics. Fender you nailed it.

:D Rumbles Rock! :D

I've had my Rumble 200 for almost two weeks and I love it!

The overdrive is decent but my Leeds pedal just pushes it to the next level.

Great job, Fender!

Wow, this club is growing. Member #125 here with a update on my V3 100 vs my V3 40. After buying the V3 100 for band practice and small to mid size gigs and using the 40 as my home practice amp its really hard to judge. The 40 is the sweetest home practice amp I have ever owned. I do find I push the mid's and treble to 1oclock as I keep my 100 flat with all EQ settings at noon. I had a little jam session Sunday with a friend who just played a acoustic guitar and I was able to dial in a nice volume with the 40 and it sounded sweet. Both amps are good at low volume. I feel the tone is punchy on the 100 and I use a compressor and my jazz bass at band practice and never have a volume issue keeping up with a drum kit and 2 guitars. I have to say I love them both and function well for what I use them for. I am saving to round out my collection and get the 200 to replace my V2 150. Rumble on my friends.

I searched, but can't seem to find a club for those of us who use and love the Fender Rumble series of amps. Any interest?

I've been playing at home with my Rumble 30 since late January and it seems to me like this amp puts out a good share for being so small! Originally I was looking at the Rumble 15 but went with the 30 because of the extra input jack, more wattage, and I read online reviews which said the 30 would be good enough to play with a band in a small venue even versus the 15 which didn't have as much bang.

Hope to hear form some fellow Rumble fans soon! :D

So this makes me the founding member, #1? I feel this is a big honor for someone so new on the forum!
Hey I am new to TB and have been playing a Rumble 150 through a 1-15 cab for a year now with good results so sign me up.

Any experiences with the Rumble combos and five stringers? Does it reproduce the lower notes with the same cleanness and punch as the higher ones?

I am really happy with the way B string on my Lakland 55-02 sounds. I can't notice any difference in output and clarity between B string and other strings. Which is great, because I tend to use B string more, even if I don't really have to. But, Laklands are known for really good sounding B strings.

Rumble V3 500 2x10 ordered this morning. Should be here by the weekend.
Rumble Club Member 156 reporting in sir...Rumble V3 500 2x10 arrived via UPS last evening. ...had rehearsal so was able to get a good taste right away. Super pleased so far, still tweaking and learning. More than enough power and volume...I was playing my Jazz with flat nylon tapes...super warm, fat and cozy in the pocket. Tonight and over the weekend, I will check with my MIJ Fender Precision Sting RI, and G&L L2000. Initial impressions: great quality on the build. Volume/Tone Pots are very smooth and solid...not crazy yet about the overdrive, but that's not really my thing anyway, so I may not know how to effectively set it, and it's unlikely I will use it anyway. Still not crazy about the DI(line out) being behind the master volume, but I have a strategy to handle that. On a scale of 1-10, I'm a solid 9 on my early impressions. Definitely worth the investment...it's been 20 years since I've had a Fender amp...nice to be back home.

Also notice that the goofy looking pull tab is gone from the baffle board. I just couldn't take the looks of it any more. I've had really good luck over the years removing the baffle boards with a vinyl siding tool, so I'll stick with that.

I also don't like the looks of that pull tab hanging out that much on my 100 V3 so I removed it, cut it shorter so it barely extends past the cabinet edge and stapled it back on. Now I don't notice it at all but it's there if I ever need it. I also removed the cheap plastic Fender badge from the front but I'll save it in case I ever sell the amp.

Now I need to get a couple of chrome corners for the back upper corners...why did Fender leave them off there? Do they expect that part of the cabinet won't get bumped?
