Fender Rumble Club

Yes they are! Plus many other companies just make up a wattage rating or use a maximum 'burst' power rating. Fender is honest in their ratings of clean continuous power which is measured at both 100Hz & 1,000Hz and at both 8 ohms & 4 ohms. Fender doesn't publish maximum program or peak power.

IIRC, the power supply sticker on the back of my Rumble 100 reads 310W.

[treble EQ not working on B-stock R500]

You should out the store.

I have had numerous issues with Guitar Center trying to pass off B-stock, used, damaged, etc. merchandise as NIB. I've caught them at what I consider some pretty dirty tricks.

Why do I keep going back? One word: PRICE. I am a cheapskate and I always use whatever promotional coupons or discounts which are available, especially for big-ticket items. (hint: look for 15% on Memorial Day weekend.)

The trick is to examine and try the merchandise before you pay for it. Unpack it in the store, plug it in and test for full functionality, THEN pay for it or sign off on it. See, before you buy it, any problems are THEIR problems. After you buy it, any problems are YOUR problems.

Do you want to make your Rumble sound even better?

Do what I did...I just purchased a used Tom Clement "Jon" bass (6-string fretless). It is gorgeous but the best thing is that it has a tone that is simply sublime! It has made me fall in love with my Rumble all over again.
I have NO idea why I deserve such a lovely instrument but I surely couldn't let someone else snap it up.
(Did I mention the stunning grain of the solid swamp ash body, fast 1-piece maple neck, and beautiful bloodwood fretboard? Oh, I guess I just did!)

OK, back to your regularly scheduled program. Ruuuuuumble on!
