Fender Rumble Club

Yup, I have and it sounds really good. I even used that set up for an outdoor gig and it had enough punch to stand out quite well.
I don't use it as often as i'd like, most gigs are smaller, but early June I'll be stacking and smacking the 115/112 stack.
Go for it, you won't be sorry.

Nice one, thanks.

It certainly looks like what I'll go for - tonal flexibility and the option of either at a smaller gig.

Do you always use both, or sometimes just the one?

Concerning Boominess (perhaps helpful--if not--just ignore):

I have played several times in one particular venue--One side of the stage has a corner with a wall--the other is open. The side with the corner is very boomy--so I always place the 500c on the open side.

Also--I have noticed that if it gets too near any other amps--you get weird modulations in the sound on stage. It isn't heard off stage--but is very disconcerting. The farther you can keep the 500c from a wall the less boomy I have noticed.

That's an interesting choice. I'm not sure, but I think Eden started that whole modern industrial look. I'm not a fan of carpeted ('ratfur') cabinets. I do like Eden's high end amps, and their 410 cab is legendary. I have not heard the EX112, but If never heard a dual (whizzer) cone speaker that I liked. Invalid Link Removed
It also doesn't have Rumble's unique magnetic head attachment system. For $100 more I'd just go ahead with a pair of Fender Rumble 112's.
You definitely don't want ratfur cabs if you have cats. I had 2 I traded when I bought my 500c. Took almost a complete roll of those sticky sheets you use for that to get the cleaned up enough.

My guess is the whizzer cone of the eden would be less desirable if you use overdrive. You can't turn the whizzer off like a switchable horn.

Eden rocks, I used to own d210xlt and d410xlt. The ex seems to be a budget line but designed to go with the micro heads which use similar icepower as the rumbles. $250 sounds like a good price though. The magnetic lock on the rumble cab would be a nice feature though.

I wish I could beat down the thief who got my swr 1x10t, that little cab rocked, but at 100w I would not use it with a high power head. As an extension to my r200c and the wm10 (also stolen), it was killer. Old technology speaker wise though.

It looks like I might be getting a rumble 112 to go with my rumble 200. Just have to arrange a meet up with honeyiscool.

@Linnin , what's the deal on fenders transferrable warranty? What paperwork if any would I need to continue his warranty? which would have a year left on the drivers, and I'm assuming 4 left on the crossover.

I often wonder how useful those Auralex GRAMMA foam amp decouplers are. I mean, this one is 23"x15" which is actually the perfect size for the 500 combo (23"x14" footprint). It doesn't really provide elevation but it should do something, right?

Answered!

Still haven't gotten mentioned text though. I replied on here, will.check eBay and then will be turning data off for a while to try to sleep till the afternoon (that's how I roll nocturnal).

I want/need that cab and that was my jump price!

Aren't Rumbles like 5 year warranty or something? I forget.

They work exceedingly well. I use mine all the time.
I might have to grab a couple, then. My amps are currently sitting on a shelf which are rated for the weight but only when evenly distributed, which they're not because amps are four points of weight. So I've been meaning to build a little wooden thing for my amps to sit on, like a little rectangular pallet. Ideally, then, I'd want something to decouple my amps from my pallet, and they might do exactly what I need. The GRAMMA looks like a good size for my guitar amps, and my new skinny cab should fit fine on one of the little BabyGRAMMAs.

Thanks for your input!

Probably about 80% of the time I use just my 115, but I'll be using the pair more starting in June, slightly bigger hall. The 115 handled it the first gig but I was pushing it more than normal, I think having the extra cab will get me the volume I need with no worries on pushing the 115.

The pair do sound great together.

Looks like I will be rocking that same rig soon! Thanks to remembering to check the rumble club.

Before I got "ripped off", I ran my 200c with a 110 or 210 even in small room auditions. I just like having the smaller speaker as well as the 15. Looking forward to at least having a small cab again, a plus that it will be a matching rumble. I wonder if it will pull double duty as replacement for the 112 guitar cab that was stolen. Anyone use one for guitar? In this case it would be extending a 50w 112 open back tube amp.

Ubs- Your 50 tube watts will not be enough to really drive any rumble extension cab. that's one of the reasons why fender doesn't offer extended cab capabilities to their 112c and lower combos. Although you may get a sound out of it, it may not be worth it. NOTE; I tried this with other gear not rumbles. As far as using for guitar- I did let my guitar player play through my r40c and to me his strat sounded much darker as compared to his twins. He said the bass speakers are not as flexible and coned different from guitar speakers, I take his word for it. IDK.
