I don't know. .. Might not have sounded that bad. I just hate recording stuff. I put it on Soundclick because a friend dared me too.

I had actually done the recording too, pair of adat xt20s and studio32 console. The good old days when band websites had lo-fi versions of songs because a lot were still on dialup, send us money order in the mail and we'll send a CDR with inkjet booklet, five bucks plus $1 postage.

Streaming radio was in its infancy.

Oh if I knew then what I know now..

Truth be told I'm just too lazy to learn how to do that stuff. To my own detriment too because I have a couple of albums worth of songs I've written.

I'll just keep my hopes up that I find some players to hook up with work out some arrangements.

We'll see.

You're much better off being professionally recorded. My friend Jake Dempsey is the bass player for the Floorboards and owns Summit Sound Studios. He used to teach recording and sound engineering. Come to Virginia and record here. Jake can hook you up with good studio grade players.

I'm seriously considering the 210 V3 cab. It's ported, correct? I'd like to pair it with either a fender 112 v3 or another 210 v3 at some point. Does anyone have any experience in either of these pairings? I'd be running it with a Ampeg pf-50t mostly, and when needed a GK MB500 as a main head or power slave for the amp.

I'm also not ruling out the rumble 500 combo, and I'm assuming that I can run my ampeg through the effects return when I need more juice (+ tubey goodness). Has anyone used the rumble combo as just a power amp? any issues?

Yes, and yes! :laugh: You can do the twelves vertical and just have the head hanging off the side. I've done that and flipped a few people out. The magnetic attachment system is strong. There actually is no sonic benefit to running the cabs vertical. SPL; air movement, and dispersion is identical.

Whoa there! More.juice? Nope you won't be getting more juice unless you have the power section of the ampeg running into its own cab. You could use the tube preamp of the ampeg into the rumble effects return, but if you try to plug the power section into it bad things will happen to both amps. If that's what you meant by more juice.

112 and 210 is a nice pairing I hear from other users here. Mine(112) is running under the rumble 200 combo (115).

You are correct, the speakers would be a tad closer to your ears vertically. If I had ended up with a 115 instead of the 112, I probably would have turned it on its side as well. (Mine is a v3, practically a square)

I use a piano bench to put the stack on. It raises it 20" off the floor. Provides for decoupling from the floor and reduces boominess. Aids in sound dispersion. Looks cool. Must take a photo some day.
