Got a friend I've convinced to play bass guitar 
Set her up with an Ibanez Mikro and a Fender Rumble 25 that should Arrive by august 15th; for the money they're great little amps, can't believe the quality at the price they charge is so high too; Might have to get me one as a spare for my ashdown, or to have in another room because Laziness

Of course it's a choice! You're the boss, blow it off! New Fender Rumbles are far more important than mere greed.I work for myself, and paid for the seminar out of pocket - so, dammit, not a choice
Mikro + Rumble 25 is my setup, and I've been extremely happy with it! I'm with you -- I can't believe the great quality you get for such a low price. I've only been playing since April, but this setup is perfect for learning.Got a friend I've convinced to play bass guitar

I know right? At first she Literally picked up a $3k Stingray, then a Gibby T-bird x.x (she's the kind where money truly is no object) But she has super small hands, almost child sized; I Played the mikro for about 2 hours for her at our local shop through a rumble and even I was impressed by the quality of BOTH things. I talked them into a slight discount for her, and vouched to let her put it on a 1 month hold (she doesn't need it until the fall semester starts). If I can't find a bass that I like for secondaries, I am so tempted to just pick up a mikro, They're not bad for anyone and my god they're sooo smooth to play!
