Fender Rumble Club

Thanks for blowing up my inbox! I think I am caught up. Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club:
669. @Gabe Foltz
670. @GManfromOz
671. @Onward
672. @Jeffro3004
By All Means Do :cool:Rumble On!

Who wants to take over this list and become the Official Rumble Club Greeter and Membership Number Dispenser? I will e-mail you my list. It is just a simple notepad file with plenty of mistakes.

On the health front my heart has calmed down some and is no longer racing 150+ BPM. BP remains high and solidly hypertensive, but a bit lower. Heartbeat is erratic with atrial fibrillation. It's like having a really bad drummer living in your chest, but I don't think it'll blow up today. I got an appointment for an echocardiogram on Sept28th. No appointment with a cardiologist yet. I guess that will come later. Maybe. I tend to doubt I'll qualify for a new artificial heart, but you never know.

 Rumbles Rock! :smug:

Thanks @DerekW! I'm poor and can't complain.

Good too see you feel well enough to get on TB!

Im not a member yet, but been watching CL for Rumble deals, so maybe soon enough. That being said, I non-member-yet-nominate @99Z3 if he has the time and energy. He's got that Rumblin' blood and a great positive attitude.

I hope and pray you get well enough to enjoy what you love, brother. Keep on Rumblin!

Linnin, your ordeal with the VA sucks about as much as any government situation can possibly suck. It makes me angry that this is how we treat our veterans. Tell me at least you've been in to see SOMEONE! Some ObamaCare doctor, some ER, some urgent care clinic.
_______

I had a job with State of California which provided me a pension and affordable health insurance. Until I was forced to enroll in Medicare, at which point my coverage went to hell. I was caught in the stupidest of all Catch-22s and the worst part is that no one at Federal, State, or UC agencies could give me a straight answer despite me spending HOURS on the phone with all of them. I truly felt like I was talking with idiots who didn't give the tiniest f**k about their jobs and were told to stone-wall the customers at every turn. Come this fall (Open Enrollment) I should be able to remedy everything, but the system failed me for a full year and I am blessed that nothing major came up during that time.

I appreciate the nomination but I feel that if someone was going to take over, it should be @lowplaces , since he has been good enough to step in.. he already has line on where the numbers are and has already been doing a great job.. I vote for lowplaces!

No. The Veteran's Administration is my only access to health care. ObummerCare is a $500+ a month joke. At least I qualify for VA health care, otherwise I would have nothing at all until I reached 65 for Medicare. I go to a fairly recently built CBOC (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) in Staunton, and they have been good to me. For Urgent Care or an ER I have to drive 98 miles south to Salem, Virginia to the VA hospital there.

This is a non paid volunteer position of the highest honor. You do not vote. You step forward and serve your fellow Rumblers without a single thought for self. (this leaves you out @99Z3).

My "vote" is a statement of confidence in my fellow TB'r @lowplaces to fill that very position.. as for me.. I am not selfish, but apparent lack of confidence only means one thing..

It means you are a successfully wealthy owner of 1 out of a total of 60 original Fender Rumble all tube amps and 2x410 cabs. Sub Woof, and Woof-Woof. That makes you a well respected member of the Fender Rumble Club. Which, of course, is the highest of all honors.

Your income; house, and car are of no consequence at all. Money is worthless. Fenders are priceless.

I finally bought it. I got a brand new Rumble 115 v3 cabinet for $118. It was a local pickup only sale on eBay from a local music store. I will pick it up Wednesday. Pictures soon. Now my Rumble 200 will be the full 200 watts with two fifteens. I will have the coupling effect going on that @Linnin always talks about! To quote him: :)WOOT! WOOT!:)

Damn, you got that? I've been drooling over that 115 from the moment I noticed it on eBay. Kept kicking myself for not living in St Louis or wherever it was... Lucky you, that is one heckuva deal!

It has been relisted a couple times. I have been outbid several times and it was relisted several times. This time, I got it. It was a patience thing. If I was meant to get it, it was going to work out. But for $118.50 plus $5 tax, it was a great deal. I have actually seen the cabinet and picked it up to check the weight. I will be picking it up tomorrow. It is at the best music store in Springfield, Missouri. They actually care about bass players which is rare.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll have to think it over though. No way I have the wealth of knowledge about Fender gear brother Linnin brings here.

I'd feel better if I had a Fender bass ! Anxiously waiting for the new Mustang to hit the streets.
