Fender Rumble Club

Hey, I can't seem to be able to confirm if the XLR Out on the Rumble 100 is pre or post eq? I am guessing it's post-eq. I know it can't be changed, whatever it is. Just wanted to know.

The XLR is post everything including MASTER volume.
It is exactly like you put a microphone in front of the speaker cone.
Every dial you tweak, every switch you click will be heard on the LINE OUT.

I don't think I do.
TradeTracker is UK based and may not track US commerce.
TradeTracker's subtitle is "Performance Marketing". :rage:
You may or may not know in what low esteem I hold the general profession of "marketing" and it goes triple for Internet marketing.

Man-in-the-Middle click-trackers are all over the Internet and are a major cause of slow response as well as other maladies.
You can blame Google for pioneering the technology and spreading it far and wide.
Yes, but what surprised me was that I posted a direct link, not a Google search like: "Audio Metalz 25300 site:bax-shop.nl" and still those trackers show up.
Firefox has a plugin which shows a diagram with alle the companies that are tracking you when visits website. It is astonishing.

and it has Fender's magic cab sim circuitry! so it really is the closest thing to putting a $200 mic on your cab. Those that have used it extensively both in live applications and in the recording studio have testified profusely to it's sonic goodness and simple handiness. It works, and works well.

As of yesterday afternoon, I took possession of a Rumble 500 V3 head and two Rumble 115 cabs, as I am a fan of good full range 1 x 15 and 2 x 15 cabs, and I've owned my share over the years. Sweet mercy, this rig sounds good! So far I'm loving it, and I can't wait to gig it out in single or double cab fashion, depending on the needs of gig! A five pound head, and single 1x15 cabs that clock in at 39 pounds each, it's wonderful!!

In hind sight, this is the rig I wish I had gotten. I went with a 210 cab because I wanted the 410, but the shop I bought from was out of stock on the 410 and I was on a time crunch. I grabbed the one 210 cab with the thought of getting a second and have a 410 that way. But now I'm thinking I should have gotten a 115 and get a second one. The cab size is a big part of it. I also want a Bassman 500 head to go with my cabs. I love my Rumble 500 v3 head, but I like having more colors to use live and the studio. The 115 cabs would accommodate the Bassman 500 better than the 210. And I'm more of a lower end tone than the punch tone kind of guy.

Oh well, I'll make it happen. It is good to have the 210 cab too. Sound choices, and there is no wrong choice when it comes to the Rumble v3 series.

You'll want to keep your Rumble 500 head as a solid backup anyway, so no $$$ lost there.
Don't kid yourself about the Rumble 115's. They deliver as hard hitting a roundhouse punch as any high dollar heavyweight. I'd take a pair of Rumble 115's over anybody's 410 cab at any price.

This is why I have a oh damn moment. I was all set on that 410 idea from talking with a local, well respected bass player that has that setup, and when they were sold out, I jumped to the 210 not even thinking about the 115. Was in a rush and had to get something quick. Had 4 gigs that weekend and needed the setup ASAP after my GK went poopie on me. And my backup amp is too quiet for some of the places we play at.

I'm gonna order a 115 or 2 soon. Might leave the 210 at one of the practice places for rehearsals. Or break the TB rules and mix cabs!!! Lol, back in the day, I ran a 410 and 115, but the 115 sounded like a giant fart and replaced it with a second 410. Miss the rig, but don't miss the weight, each 410 was 98 lbs! And it seemed every place I played in NY, had flights of stairs! Even one club that was 1 story, had a load in in the back, that went down to the basement, then back up to the back stage/stage area! I was so pissed.

Nothing wrong with mixing cabs as long as they were designed with that in mind and Rumbles are. The Rumble 500 combo on top of a Rumble 115 cab is a popular choice. Some like the 112, and of course others go for the 210. They all have their particular strengths. One of my favorite small footprint mini-stacks is a pair of Rumble 112's. Any way you choose, you just can't loose.
:D Rumbles Rule! :D

Truth be told, I spend time with my Bassman 500 hybrid head, tuning it to sound more like a Rumble set flat.

Dat tube overdrive is da bomb, though.

When the V3's first came out I couldn't believe how close the sound/tone was to a 1970's silverfaced Bassman 100. It was and still is just astounding. Unless I was dying for that tube front end, I'd stick with the V3 Rumble heads. Either 500 on top of a pair of 115's must be nice! I've played the Bassman 500 on top of a Bassman Pro Neo 115 and loved it, and of course I own a Rumble 200 combo and love it just as well. One can easily imagine the double 115 stack.
