by: Kelly Martin; Terry Foster, and Paul Kelly. I needed it to complete my Fender library. Very nicely done with excellent quality photos. As far as I know only one edition published 2010, and too damned expensive.

The thing of it is that with today's print on demand technology those old advertising posters and catalog covers could easily be produced as each sale was made, and have zero stock. Almost 100% profit.Would love a poster like that......are these available anywhere?

The big revelations on the eq for me was that 1) the Gain is more of a active/passive pad rather than a traditional gain and 2) I start with the Bass at 9:00 and work my way up, the v3 Rumbles are Low/Low-Mid forward.I just sat down for about 80 minutes with a Rumble 500 combo at Sam Ash, and wow!
I was absolutely blown away with how well it sounded dialing a variety of different tones. I went through a bunch of my bands set (all covers, many genres) and there is nothing it couldn't do! and man was it LOUD. I can't even imagine how loud it gets with an extension cab.

Ok.....I have to go stop the looper. Can't take it any more![]()
...Didn't have time to dial the sound before the gig really, ...
Could have been that way, in younger days... I see that crap happen from time to time though, hard to keep my head from boilingLet me guess, your drummer took 80% of the sound-check time getting levels on the snare and kick? Everyone else got about 15 seconds?![]()

My master rarely goes higher than 1/4 unless I am not using the 112 and have to push the internal 15" 140w over a drummer in a hard rock setting. I have a zoom recorder room recording of us working on distant early warning, but the guitar players were a bit light on the volume (rhythm guitarist was using a vox ad30vt 110 30w valvetronix amp and lead was not cranking his rig)It was just the 200 alone and my 98 jazz.I loved your story, @ubernator . A TB classic "fire the dr*mmer" tale. I can't think of anything in recent memory that comes close and thanks to copious alcohol therapy, I've forgotten enough of the good old days.
My skin and stick guy did cop an 'tude when I told him that Me and Bobby McGee doesn't end with a snare snap. We redid the song and he beat the tar out of his kit for the outro but let the quiet ending happen. He asked if I was satisfied. I said, "The cops aren't here --- yet." I'm running my bass rig at about 1/4 volume so if anyone can get his neighbors ticked off, it would be me. They're used to his noise but not when I turn it up to DOOM!!!
The band is dping much better without him. Before that show debacle, he was holding back the band, would not do his homework so the new songs were slow to be added, and he made sure we hardly ever practiced, and always showed up late when he did practice (and not cancel the day before or the day of which was common).@ubernator Your story convinces me even more never to go freelance as a bassplayer. My current band I formed after 40 and with 20 years playing I knew what kind of bull I needed to keep at arms length when finding bandmates. After going through 7 people, we found the proper lineup that I know I can trust and rely on. The camaraderie and mutual respect for each other is one of the key things that actually led me to forming a new band after a long hiatus.
Your story is an excercise in pain and I hope you never need to deal with such again.
