Fender Rumble Club

I plugged a digitech 9V power supply in. I would not have thought it would burn it up---you could smell the burning.
My local music store has another one--I need it by Saturday night. I may have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. SUX.

The pitchfork uses a 9v too.
THANKS; Your misfortune has cause me to be more careful now that I'm buying more pedals.

Me too, but what do you think is above a strong feeling?

After due consideration and intense reflexion to many potential challengers, some of whom I have actually tried: Promethean, MB 121P, 151P and JB, TC BG250 210, 115 & 112, GK MB210, 115, 112, incl. MBP add-ons, Ashdown 300w and 120w, Peavey MAX 115, Rumble 200, etc.

+ the video by Matt Stottman... that is fantastic and was key to the decision...

At last, my quest had ended....

I have pulled the trigger for a brand new Rumble 500 v3. :) :) :) :)
The Light and Mighty that you cannot go wrong with...
Scheduled to get to its new home on Friday. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper::hyper:

It will replace my big and heavy (not so heavy actually) HARTKE rig (stacked AK cabinets: 410+115). :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :smug:

I will post pictures as early as I can, please hold the line, and prepare my membership card and # ...

Congrats. Post up pics when it comes in! I have been loving mine since day one!

Mine come labeled from the factory: Fender Precision (or Jazz) Bass; Fender Custom Shop Instrument Cable, and Fender Rumble 200 bass amplifier. No misidentification ever.

Beautiful simplicity.

After 50 years of just a sax I decided to complicate my life to the max with extreme gear connected in unintended configurations contrary to manufacturer recommendations.

I will survive. I will either come out as a mad genius or just.....mad.

For a while in the 70s, I switched to keys. Back then, there was no one does everything. I had to have
Electric piano
Organ that sounded like a Hammond (pretty much)
Leslie Cab for Organ
String synth
Synth

I got tired of the complexity, not to mention the setup/breakdown time and needing a van to carry my stuff. So I went back to bass->chord->amp. That's all I need.

Back in the 1980's I played in the chitlins circuit in the NE. All those bands were based around Hammond B3's or C4's. Being the sax player with little to carry--I was always the guy to help lift the Leslie cabs and organs over the snow banks at the curb of the night club. Not fun.

Luckily, I didn't have a Hammond. I can't remember the maker, but it was a single key board with drawbars that sat on top of my string synth. Through the Leslie (147 lowboy), it sounded enough like a B3 to get by.

I bought one when I bought my 500. It works well and has a Fender logo on it.

I'm still using the one that came with my m80 guitar amp in 1991, has the red led and is labeled "channel select", I have another I picked up in 2001 when I bought a used super 60, it was labeled " equalizer" but I blacked that out with a sharpie. It is currently on extended loan along with that m80. I need to get that back.

I think fender still makes the same switch, called "deluxe one button footswitch with led" the LED comes in really handy, I mean really handy.
