Fender Rumble VS Peavey Headliner

Im in the market for some 410 cabs. Im not hurting for more cabs but I would like to give a few 410's a chance, I have been using two 1x15 cabs for a very long time so I want to see what 410's are all about. Ive been looking into either the Peavey Headliner 410 or the Fender Rumble 410. Money isnt really an issue but I would rather not spend the outrageous prices of the boutique cabs just yet. Any insight on either of these budget gems would be helpful, which one would you choose?

In my opinion i would go for the fender rumble. Had the headliner and wasnt crazy about it. The fender is ported with a tweeter and will have better range to it. The headliner is sealed and doesnt have alot of bottom end to it. I also didnt care for the tone of the speakers in the headliner. If you dont mind paying an extra $100 you would be much better off buying a used swr goliath, no comparison to either one of these.

So 1 for The Fender and 1 for the Peavey and of course 2 for the Talkbass standard answers of try them out first. Yeah, just let me start packing now and in 6 weeks after I get back from hitch-hiking my way to and from the nearest music store that may or may not carry both cabs I'll have hopefully come up with a choice. If you don't own or haven't owned or tried either one of them out then why attempt to answer the question?

They're only trying to help, m8. Fact is, until you try them in person, it will be a shot in the dark.

That said, I would lean towards the Peavey. It might not be the best-sounding 410 on the market, but it'll do the job it was meant to. It'll also be damn tough.
