Fender Select Precision or 62RI pickups

Has anyone compared the pickups in a Fender Select precision with the 62RI or "original" pick ups?

Would there be any reason to think putting 62RI pickups in a select would be a reasonable upgrade?

No. I think they're likely to be more or less the same pickup. I would look at a Fralin, Novak or Lollar as an upgrade over either of those.

But I really licking with the tone from Pino P pup.
